I've been waiting for a good coupon and this was the one, set up in stock alerts, and overnight the app told me he was available to ship. When I woke up, they had 1 available and voila! $68 shipped w/ taxes, not too bad at all I'd say.

 

Looks like Road Rage is on sale. 2 left if the app is to be believed.

 

2 left because it's 2 per account. But they are not really enforcing that limit, I've ordered more than 2. But you can only order 2 at a time.

Target should know better than to make a repaint of a shoddy mold a redcard exclusive.

 

It's also ill-advised, as it being a RedCard item means a 90-day window for returns, which is well beyond when RR became available. As such EVERYONE can return the original purchase and rebuy for less, or request an adjustment based on the drop.

I mean, they will now lose even more money than postponing the discount past three months.

FYI, transactions using a RedCard get an extra 30 days for returns, i.e. 120 days total. But you are right, basically anyone who ordered Road Rage at regular price should be able to either 1) get an adjustment or 2) re-buy and return.

 

You're right. It's 30 days past the standard return policy, which is now 90 days unto itself.

It's even more surprising now.

Is it the fender peg issue alone at the core of this?

 

It's probably that most people know how much the Tracks mold sucks, so Roadrage didn't sell well.

 

IMHO, the mold has issues but gets a lot more hate than it deserves.

I think lots of people are going to kick themselves for not grabbing one when it was easy to get.

That said, I’m not grabbing RR, but that’s more because I don’t collect obscure/semi-obscure repaints.

 

for Road Rage I'm doing the rebuy/return

I used the 25% off coupon on the Mega Construx Hot Wheels Purple Passion which is also on sale right now ($5 off, now $44.99) which knocked off another ~$10, and then used 2 giftcards I had, so I paid less than $4 for it  

 

I bought a T-Wrecks with the $10 off $50 toy promo, and a second one now that it’s clearanced to $37. Check your targets if you’re still looking for one

also got Road Rage adjustment through CS

 

Once I floor-polished the hip and thigh joints and tightened my rivets, my Tracks figure was just fine. Oddly enough, my copy of Road Rage was fine right out of the package.

 

My Tracks and Road Rage were both fine out of package. Bummed that so many needed tweaking. It's a beautiful mold!

Hopefully Target gets Legacy Wave 1 up today. I still have the Circle offer to use, and Wave 1 sometimes gets released early!
