One thing i'd like to see with this and future combiners, is having the feet with bot-matching "slippers". So with Bruticus, we need one yellow and one olive, rather than a completely different colour.

Combiners are like triple changers. Or rather a 2 and a half changer. One mode will probably suffer. So far IMHO, only TFC's Poseidon has consistently avoided this limitation.

First page has a teaser pic and you can also see the engine air intakes in combined mode.

Yeah well these aren't "Masterpiece", it's their own new line as evidenced by a unique scale and getting their own Prime out early on.

I wonder if Swindle is going to be a Humve or a jeep. Looks like a Humve from the picture. Still looks awesome though.

Like some of the other members have noted, that Vortex arm needs some work before I go in on yet another combiner...

Thighformers. For people who demand mass shifting from their toys.

Though he looks pretty good. I may buy him.

Huge props for doing it, though I meant that no toy company/mass production had done it yet.

Earlier pics made it very clear that they're basically using movie Blackout for Vortex. And combined mode only reinforces it--the engines/exhausts are pretty visible in arm mode, as are both the main and tail rotors.

Even better--they could have just folded up the tail the same way the real one does---it was designed to compact down as tight as possible. (Most military choppers can)

(ok this second one is a CH-53 and not an MH-53, but it's hard finding good pics via my phone)

MH-53 vs SH-2 is like a big sedan vs a Corvette. (Well, not THAT extreme, but they are pretty darn different in size and sleekness)

It's the same problem MT's Guardia has---they took a decently sleek G1 rescue copper and turned it into a fat transport chopper, and ended up with a too-big boxy combiner arm.

(Of course, I've never accepted Vortex as being an SH-2, but I've also never found anything better)

    Ah, ok.
I can make out the intakes on the the vehicle teaser image, and I guess you're using the way the main rotors are folded in arm mode as an indication of the type of helicopter in alt mode.

I probably judging more from the G1 toy, but I've never thought of Vortex's alt as more than a generic military helicopter.

I gotta say he looks nice.. makes Warbotron look a bit clunky by comparison.

It was probably an entirely made up helicopter.

Am I the only one who wants a "vintage" Bruticus with all five Combaticons utilizing their original WWII alt forms?? ... I know in Asia military model kits and collectibles are a huge thing, so it could be a super unique collector's item in which both TF fans and military nuts can get off to ... then based off its success you could replicate the same M.O. with Superion as his natural nemesis ...

Looks clean, nice proportions, but yeah, I'm guessing it was achieved with some partsforming at the waist and thighs too.
