This has me worried that the colours we saw for their Locke aren't 'non-finalised' as they said. That looks to have the same sort of finish as this, a kind of pseudo metallic that isn't toon or toy accurate.

I was just thinking this. Even though for the longest time I defended the "final product will be toon like Aegis" statement, seeing how off-model they've gone here in the pursuit of a "premium metallic" look, has me worried for Locke also. And Virtus. If I have to choose between the random metallic XTB or the Fanstoys late tax (or even early tax these days) I might have to put my S3 plans to bed for a while.

But yeah, but the T doesn't make sense. They should have used X instead. This is more metallic. Maybe they meant for it to match with FT-16M??

Nah. It looks fine but I still want to see how FT will do it.
I do agree, it is the best option for those who want these characters and missed out previously, especially the Swarm set. I wish 215 Toyz was still around and sold these like they did the original versions.

Looks snazzy but hope we aren't entering the metallic paint era for everything! So glad FT dropped that from those Warpath and Brawn reveals. Metallic is fine but really needs to be consistent in a collection to look right, i think.

Anyway, Andras was a great figure...the feet were super annoying so i just unscrewed them and then re-attached in correct position!

@ibot Any plans for a clear purple Andras and a re-run of the clear purple Eligos?

This looks really, really good. I hope the eyes will be red. The pictures show the eyes quite dark. Hopefully this will not drop at the same time as their other figures. One at a time to give people time to save up for, say, G2 Motormaster  

 

Like the paint, enough to pre-ordered because next to Sovereign M and Quietus T the original looks a bit lackluster. I was never super crazy about this mold tho - it's serviceable, but those bits of kibble inside the wings always bothered be. Really wish FansToys would take a crack at this guy already.

 

I just noticed something. The backgrounds on the left two boxes match up as do the right two but it doesn't match up in the middle. Could that be where Galvatron's box will go?

 

Maybe, it's where Eligos'/Cyclonus' box goes. Just a hunch.

Hmm...looking at it more, the colors are growing on me a bit....but I really hope it doesn't look quite THAT shiny in person...neither Quietus T nor Sovereign M look as shiny as those pics of Andras.
