I was only talking about using his colors not the character himself. But I looked it up and that figure was used for a Predacon in the Recordicons by Fun Pub back when they made TF story for the Club the character was named Garboyl.

So maybe Shattered Glass Terrorsaur if they gave him new colors could use the unused Swoop repaint colors.

I'm thinking they'd reserve Movie Strafe's colors for BW Garboyl who pretty much uses the BW Strafe repaint as a his design base instead but who knows? Hasbro has known to go to places we didn't think they'd go to.

Speaking of Swoop I'm still pretty surprised that the Botcon Swoop didn't go through years ago given that it'd be a pretty no brainer reuse of the original Terrorsaur mold for obvious reasons and he'd fit right next to BW Grimlock when it comes to the G1 Dinobots taking organic Dinosaur modes. Perhaps with us getting a new BW Grimlock in the future along with us now actually having a new Terrorsaur mold to use for future repaints we can finally see that BW Swoop idea come to life.

everyone is saying terrorsaur should be voyager but we all know he should be at least titan even if thats a little small for him

 

New idea SG Terrorsaur should be Pink.

 

The most probable repaints from Terrorsaur are Lasorbeak, Hydra, Fractyl, Terranotron and then after all of them maybe a Swoop.

Now that I think about it, Terrorsaur has more in common with Starscream than just the personality.

So many speculating that Terrorsaur is a retool of Airazor. I don't know how Hasbro does retooling, but Terrorsaur might as well be a new mold. What would you say?

 

I mean given that POTP Punch/Counterpunch had an entire new mold to himself despite being an Amazon Exclusive it wouldn't be hard to imagine Terrorsaur being given a similar treatment.

I don't remember Terrorsaur ever interacting with the Golden Disk, but it would be cool to include and certainly a welcome addition. If there's extra budget though, I would prefer other accessories like his shoulder cannons.

You are right, Inferno with the Vok Disk would be an ideal pairing, since he was the one who originally retrieved it for Megatron. It would be a nice way to pay homage to this scene:

 

My money would be on the white robot with blue cab; that seems to be the more "well-known" (if you can call Puffer well-known) color.

 

While this is good news, I would definitely prefer that they do Transmetal Tarantulas over his S1 body. That’s when the character really came into his own to me, not counting the back end of Season 1. Megs is iconic in both S1 and Transmetal bodies, but I would skip a S1 Tarantulas in favor of Transmetal Tarantulas for sure.

 

Wasn't the Golden Disk coming with The Ark?

Awesome to see Terrorsaur's coming. Would love to see Tarantulas, Depth Charge, and Inferno get their just dues too.

 

I would like Inferno to come up with a show accurate flamethrower.

I’m also excited for Tarantulas and Terrorsaur because getting a complete Original Darksyde crew would be so cool.
