There is NO reason you should get card you can get form missions FOR FREE, from Space Bridges you PAY for. Thats what irritates me about paying for bridges. You spend $20 to get 6 tries, and 4 of the cards will be cards you can get for free...nearly every time.

 

The small one gives you 1000xp. That's the amount you need to level up once you hit level 55 (max player's level is 999).

The bigger one = 2500xp.

They're kind of reward you can get everytime you level up, just like bronze warrior/weapon medal. Dunno why, but they're unavailable atm, maybe some event'll trigger them?

Something to consider... it was $30 to get the best card in the game guaranteed plus whatever else last event. It looks like you won't get the best card in the game this episode around but still worth mentioning =p

 

I am still one who belives that properly M/T/M Tier 4 cards and Leveled up Weapons (Matching and maxed if you can) will be just as good as and cost far less ;-)

 

Feel free to believe that   but event mirage is better in every way than a t4 Megatron (The best non event card) and has a way better weapon =p Plus it's technically harder to get the Megatron as there's no guaranteed method to buy him.

 

Snarl will about the only decent card out of the bunch this time. Since Def = worthless and health is just okay. So my summary is Dirge = okay (if your looking for lvl 3's), Snarl = decent lvl 4, rest will be crap but you'll have to level up some thrusts if you want to pwn some bosses.

I have the Event Mirage and his Tier 4 weapon  ....working on Leveling it and Event Hardshell x2 weapons at the moment to the highest I can get them before game.

 

I still think the Slug and Sludge weapons are mixed up.

Yup Just slightly better than Hardshell in all regards. It will be nice to not have to worry about trying to place high this time because Slug just isn't worth it. If they give us our medals back I'm going to spend the majority of the event cashing them in!

There is plans to fix the defense stat, so Slug could end up being good eventually. Just don't hold your breath.

I personally don't think the defense stat is broken. The only thing broken is that the x2 and x3 multipliers don't affect it like they should. Fix that and BAM! You've fixed defense.

 

So for those of you that actually got to play the last event can you give a simplified breakdown of how it works. Like are the boss fights against your team or against your squad? Are they at random or is there a place they can be located throughout the event? Any other details would be awesome.

 

You sure are bishwa's! In a short amount of time = to the time you've already been playing you'll be caught up to where I was today!  

I'm not trying to level fast myself now that the new cutoff is 999.

 

Mirage is better anyways, but seriously, you'll see this game is and always will be about events. And as long as they continue to give event multipliers from the new event cards they will always be the best.

Now, you can just use current event medals to get them from the bridge. But not likely past medals. Normally, I don't expect them to let us keep medals past the the start of the next event. You spend them during or between events. But the events wipe the slate clean.

 

I went into the last event with a fair mix of maxed 3's and a couple of 4's, and that was good enough to 1-cube all the way up to level 5 Hardshells - which meant several days of piling on medals from Kickbacks. I had enough medals to draw 11 event Hounds and one event Mirage, my mistake was not doing the bridges early on. I held on to my deck as it was for too long, until I realized that I couldn't 1-cube the level 5 Hardshells and wouldn't be able to take on Sharpshots. Then I started cashing in medals like crazy. Assuming the next event is similar, I know that I need to hit the bridges early in search of event cards, but it's probably not vital to spend money on the bridge pack. If I use the energon refills I have saved from the last event, I should be able to hit the bronze/silver bridges often enough to get a few event cards along the way.

Still, I could be convinced to buy the event bridge pack if the event rewards are worth chasing, just to get an early lead. As it was during the last event, I managed to stay in the top 100 every day, fell out of it on the last day, and fought back into the 60's in the final day, without buying the bridge pack. If they shrink down the max reward tier (say top 50 or top 20), then that's a different matter.
