Indeed, a quite lethal one at that, the way Starscream handled it in the 1986 movie to remove the cavities off of the Autobot's entire body cavities with precision, shows that the Decepticons are gentlemen.
What if he's a blue bullet?

Exactly this. The second biggest problem with gun Megatron is the lack of playability. What exactly can you do with a gun that's bigger than a truck cab? How do you play with them? How do you display them together?

Battlemaster Megatron would allow other boys to hold them, and let you recreate scenes from the show.
If they need an excuse to make a Megatron that small, just say it's like Mini-Megatron from Scioli's TFs vs GI Joe comic.
While we're at it, new battlemaster Shockwave too. The CW one is a bit pricey now.

You actually collect transformers? I mean, some of the most iconic figures mass shift like crazy. Also the idea that a bug is as big as a car. Or that a cassette player turns into a massive robot. playability is both imagination and the lore behind the characters. Display them together as you wish or not. Matters not. I can go on about the size difference between certain characters that do not add up all day and night. Yet they still belong on the same shelf. And if it bugs you well maybe it has less to do with the characters and more with something else.

From pistol to 40 foot Bot is a hard ask for the imagination, different from monstrous bug to 20 foot bot

As long as the robot mode is animation accurate down to the cannon latched to his right shoulder blade, I'm open to other ideas for his alt mode. But the best idea might be the Animated helicopter homage. All you'd have to do is swing the tail down perpendicularly, remove the rotors and fold back the cockpit to reveal a barrel while the gun/scope sits on top and OOPS he's a gun...

If it has the same height of the Siege one i feel like it could be similar enough to pass, imagine the main 3 plus maybe some earthrise coneheads and all the classics seeker variants all around.
I guess it's going to be personal preference let's wait and see!

OBVIOUSLY what Hasbro needs to do is travel back in time and influence the first weapons that use use gunpowder/projectiles and have them look “U” shape.

That way they can continue to make “L” shaped guns in modern times.

They would also have to have a system in place so that fans could remember that guns are “L” shaped.

Something highly "unidentified", possibly "flying", & maybe "saucer" shaped.

    Cybertronian sewer lid.

I totally agree with you. Some people on these boards always have something to say about everything and they don't know anymore than the rest of us as to what the future holds. We have all been surprised at some point at the things that have happened.
