At first glance I thought Rod had a custom non-movie accurate head design, because I saw the ridge detail above his eyes as being a visor and the actual face as a sort of segmented face plate.

Am I the only one who sees that?

Yeah, especially from this side profile, this is basically what my brain saw:

I'm really impressed with with the sculpts for both robot and alt modes. They really nailed the proportions that embody each character. Really digging Road Block's vehicle mode especially and love how he comes with his little buddy that can interact with the car (it helps that it's a convertible). Hot Rod I'm less interested in but still a nice representation. Might just pick up Barricade because I'm a fan of the character.

Love Barricade. Makes me want a Studio-style figure of the toy-only design of Bumblebee Barricade even more now. That would have some unique shapes to work with for a new alt mode, although I guess closer to the WW2 one.

Yo with some paint covering the eye and either dying or painting that clear visor like part, and you got a nene head with a big chin instead of a weird mouth.

Hot Rod looks okay, but Barricade looks GREAT. Always happy to see more original TF designs from 3rd parties.

Would be so much better than his actual face. I really want a movie Hot Rod figure with an alternate head. Instead of making it movie-accurate, just make it look GOOD.

Hot Rod looks OK, but damn Barricade looks fucking awesome. And that little Frenzy! And the...um...furniture...

Please Toyworld, PLEASE don't give him some tone-deaf nazi paint scheme...

If Bee and Bulldog are any indicators I think we're going to get a number of Nazi paint schemes. At the very least iron crosses.

I mean, he is a decepticon, and he’s usually black, so I imagine that’s pretty much what we get. Idk what else we can expect for a WW1/2 TF. Pink barricades?

AFAIK, Kübelwagens never had swastikas. Unless you still think the Iron Cross is a swastika, that is.

Damn, I’m seriously hoping we can purchase that Frenzy by itself to complete the MPM Movie decepticons

The real bummer here is that we probably won't get anything with Allied markings.

These look awesome! The head sculpts look great, I think my biggest problem with their Bumblebee was that the head sculpt looked off. Still, if these are SS scale than the SS WWII Bee should still look cool with them. Interested in seeing more of these!

To me this series is one of the most exciting things happening in 3p Transformers right now. I was deeply impressed with both the Bee and Bulldog figures, just very solid designs, fantastic paint and sculpt work and bags of character both. Some small clearance and tolerance issues are the only thing they lacked in to me (and that was mainly Bee) but when the alt-modes are that good, I'm willing to take my time with them. Anyway, I'm delighted they are contining with this passion project!
