What's the exact facility? Because it is most likely stuck in Customs. Customs is very backed up and large packages tend to stuck for a long time. I had it happen when I bought a Jinbao KO OS Gravity Builder from an Alibaba seller last year.

Yup, a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately there's not really much they can do since it's not really an issue on their end of things.

That's what I'm guessing. I'm fairly patient, I realize things are a mess at best right now. I wouldn't even be sweating it if it wasn't for the cost involved. At least I can come here and enjoy everyone else's pics lol. I included a screenshot of what it shows when I look it up.

Understandable. If you are concerned you should be able to contact the number for the isc new york location or the one listed on the tracking number. If you can reach someone nice you might get a better answer. Might have to wait longer unfortunately. Mine sat in isc chicago for around 2 months (the jinbao one) if i recall correctly. :/

Seriously, they are like gold dust and loads of people want them, myself included. BBTS have them listed with pre orders sold out. But the expected arrival date keeps moving a month at a time, so who knows when Toyworld will send them. And even then you have to hope for extras or someone to cancel...

 

from what i was told from a personnel of TCP that toy world was not going to reissue them any more and my pre order was cancelled because of it. so i was lucky to find them on ebay of course i had to pay a premium for them. i didn`t care at the time i just wanted to finish the set and call it done. took about 3 years to find every thing the two that made up the arms was the hardest to find.

BBTS seem to think they might get the stock, or at least the stock answer I received at least indicates I should keep checking... make of that what you will.

The biggest irony is Toyworld make those thighs everytime they make a green Constructor, they then spray a load freakin silver  . How hard to mould a couple of hundred extra pieces? They'll sell, we know they will.

 

they had those up for well over a year and never seen nothing the same with over on the TCP. but ebay will be the best bet if your lucky enough to find them.

 

Yep. Those preorders on sites like BBTS will NEVER happen. Not sure why they don’t just pull those friggin things down. False hope. Second hand or try to strip the silver off with alcohol. Some have had success doing this. Good luck

 

I've stripped the silver. 97% isopropyl alcohol if I recall. Perhaps 99%.

I've got loads of score marks from scraping off the paint. I left that shit for days, agitation, rubbing, resoaking it. Had to sand and scrape!

Ideally, I'll get a green set and then patch up and repaint the silver on the ones I got with the set. Perfect edition my arse!

well i dont need to do any of that as i was lucky enough last year to find the set of green thighs . and they are installed on my devy as i type

General PSA. I apologize if this has already been posted previously but I haven't seen this mentioned. I've got four of these sets (green, yellow, weathered green, cell shade) and every set came with crazy tight tolerances for the individual bots, especially in the thigh swivel. I've found that using RC shock oil does wonders and now I can turn the joints without the fear of anything breaking. You just need a little dab of shock oil. Enjoy.

Are you opening it up all the way and applying it directly on the spring?

 

Yes, I am opening them up. I then apply a small dab (size of a toothpick head) inside the joint crevice and I also apply a small amount with a q-tip to the actual joint (mushroom joint?) itself. Afterward, close it up but don't put the screws in yet - just hold the parts together with your hands and twist/move it around so the shock fluid has a chance to get into all the places it needs to be at. Then you can close it up and wipe off any access that may have leaked out.

The yellow constructor was my first one and I broke almost every hip thigh joint cause they were so tight. Got some replacement parts and the shock oil and have applied it to every constructor I've had since. Nothing broken, nothing tight, and everything works as it should. Enjoy bud.
