Kapow have him for £300 but I just saw they may adjust the price. But technically it should be free shipping on this from them. Probably why the price would have to change.

On a similar topic I didn't get a delivery of new Micron goodies today as I hoped :(  Maybe 2moro. Sucks as I am off all day!

And apparently it's out of stock already :)

Think my missus would kill me if I did pick him up, no matter how tempting

I don't think it was ever in stock. More of a place holder.
Going to have to get one of those Thundercrackers too. Damn exclusives!

Got to admit that I never really saw the enthusiasm for Fort Max. Sure, his is a big guy, and the ultimate Headmaster, but I have always been more of a Scorpy fan.

    QFT, can't see how he's worth £350.
Horses for courses I suppose :)

    Cheers,

Well I've liked Max as a comic character but I'm not big on G1 collecting these days. The ones I've never owned appeal to me the most I think.

I was thinking do I want to spend this amount. Then again I spend this on other 3rd party things. But then again they are more poseable. Then again this is HUGE!! Where would I put it :lol
It's one of those toys that's been so hyped over the years you have to think about it. I know I wouldn't preserve it too well though. Decisions decisions

Hoping to get it down a little more to be honest but with our countries glourious taxation, shipping to us then to the customer I don't think it will be by too much, still gonna grab myself one, waaaaaaaaaay cheaper than the alternative :)

Yep, I think the only reason I'd buy one would be for when the price goes up, I've got no real feelings for the toy itself, combined with having to explain to my wife just why I've spent that much on a massive TF :)

got to admit its probably worth stashing one or two away if possible, I never thought Brave Max would end up at the insane price point it did and remember when those things were about £75 shipped at wholesale, I would love a time machine :)

It'll be about £285 to ship from BBTS. But I'm not too familar with customs.

its 20% on the actual item value which is roughly £44 and if it comes via Parcel Force an extra £11 clearance fee which I'm about to get boned on a Thundercracker..........sad panda

Encore Fort Max.....curse you money gods.

Thats far outside my usual cost/interest ratio but im feeling like I could break.

To be honest, I was more interested in the news that MP 15 is Ravage and Rumble at $60

Nice one TakTom, they’ve scratched a major itch for fans by rereleasing a holy grail figure.

I have a Fort Max, but he’s damaged, missing parts and stickers, just in general a shadow of how the toy should look. So it’s a given I’ll be picking up the Encore release.

It’ll be interesting to see how this effects the aftermarket price for the original toy.

If I were a rich man (la la la la la la la la), I'd think about getting three. One for display, one to add articulation to and one to keep MISB to sell to fund my retirement in 30 years time ;)

Andy, would you accept blood and/or organs as payment for a Fort Max?
