Wise words, fortunately this is what I did and on retrospect it was the right one for sure.

Has anyone played this since they patched it with trophies. Would you say it is worth $20 new?

When did they patch it with trophies?

I stuck it in my PS3 a couple of weeks ago and there weren't any then.

Just got this game a while ago. It's great, love using the Force to throw the enemies away. >: D

i thought it was quite good, but a big buggy and slightly tedious and badly designed in areas. worth $20 for shizzle.

Yeah, it does freeze up in some parts, especially the DLC Jedi Temple.

For whatever reason, the second playthrough hardly froze at all for me.
But the first time I played the Temple it was a stuttering nightmare.

I had some problems with bugs in boss battles.
At least twice I somehow managed to blast Darth Maul off the platform we were fighting on leaving me with nobody to fight, so no way to proceed other than by restarting.

The same thing actually got me to beat Shaak-Ti. I was somehow able to knock her over and into her worm thing (Been a while, can't remember details) her health drained to nothing, cue cutscene.

Definitely worth going through if you're a Star Wars fan though. IMO it has a better plot than any of the prequels.

there was one boss battle i had where the guy would go invisible, and then reappear somewhere and attack.

once the guy just disappeared and never came back :lol

That boss fight was pretty fun, though the ending of it sucked. I want my opponents to DIE, especially playing it on the hardest difficulty. >: (

With each DLC level being $10 each, I suppose I'll just wait and actually pick up the Ultimate Sith Edition for $30 and get Hoth too that way.

    I'm thinking that, too.
IIRC LucasArts confirmed that your saved game files will work.

The only real problem I had with the game was that damn Star Destroyer "boss" battle.
The onscreen indicators of what you were supposed to do lied!
