Earlier I posted about Overlord,but in no way was I trying to make fun or insult anyone who wants him,but as for myself he just doesn't pop for me like some TF's do.

Now as for grails I have got over the years I finally get them and to name a few here they are,MP-08 Grimlock,ROTF Leader Optimus Prime,HftD Voyager Highbrow,and Armada Tidalwave.

 

I have a foggy memory, but I believe Overlord was released in Japan soon after the release of Powermaster Prime in the states? I'm not really sure, but once I dumped my G1 collection in 96 and rebuilt it back in 01 - OVERLORD was/is a most sought after figure that I want in my collection. Kinda sucks that Transformers sucked in the US during that time and got shut down, but kept going strong in Asia back in the day.

Because if you asked me, with the exception of MP-08, I'd say that your list of grails is pretty meh and I wouldn't want them if someone paid me to keep them (no offence meant). Like I said, to each their own poison.

 

My grail that I own is a MP Megatron. I'm relatively new but have not too far to go to finish the g1 84-85 line (mix of Encore, Takara, TRU, Originals). But my grail to buy at this time is a loose G1 Jetfire, non yellowed, complete with all accessories (stickers don't matter. Can always get the reprolabels right?) or set of G1 Dinobots.  

Oh and I guess for unofficial releases I would say that MP Not Coneheads Seekers set coming out in March.

 

Closest I have to a grail is the combinin' dinos tape cassettes. I want, but common sense keeps getting in the way of paying what they usually go for.

I've got my most prized TF want. Leader ROTF-style Screamer. My second was also recently acquired - Henkei Ghost Screamer. My third is the Botcon Shattered Glass Screamer, which I have yet to get.

 

I got alottttt of things that I want.

But the most treasured?

mint 100% complete Fortress Maximus(box included)

 

I guess a Fort Max would be nice to aquire for myself, I'm just waiting for that one good deal that will come along one of these days.

I have to kind of agree but It all depends on how much you can spend and certain transformers will just always be unattainable like MIB G1 Artfire (I think any G1 collector will know how rare he is  ). But what I don't get is how retail transformers like rotf leader prime or leader starscream are holy grails when they can be acquired at nearly any retail store. Especially when they can have sales and you can get them nearly 50% off.

My definition of a Holy grail transformer is something that EVERYONE wants but is EXTREMELY limited and requires an organ donation.
