Wow! Liokaiser, Dinoking AND Monstructor! Very impressive. How long did it take you to complete Dinoking?

Very lucky! I had a friend at school who had family in Canada, he'd always get some cool stuff when he went to visit. I remember being insanely jealous of his Blaster and Sky Lynx toys

Yeah, I need both my kidneys - couldn't afford him without selling at least one of them! Not that I've ever seen one come up for sale! There are 3 JG1 figures I'd like to get for my collection to be "complete" for me. And they are going to be expensive enough as is. Battle Gaia is not even on my radar.

Took about 6 years to piece him together. I got Goryu & Rairyu from the same seller back in 2009, then tracked down a Doryu in 2011. Took me another 4 years to get the rest, did a deal with an Italian seller for all 3. All of them are Taiwan KO's, not the Takara originals.
My Liokaiser is a Frankenstein mix of Takara and Metamorphs KO's (although the KO Killbison ironically seems to have better plastic than the genuine one, no risk of GPS!)
Monstructor, I'm missing the shell for Wildfly. And as with all of the ones I've seen, both Bristleback and Slog have GPS issues. I wouldn't dare transform either of them anymore.

Thanks, yes one of the ones I would have been happy to just see up close!

Inner tray is not brilliant but just being present is great!
All in all. Very happy with this guy!

I think mine randomly came with the inner tray and no box, it was probably trashed though. If I find it and its half way decent I'll send you some pics so you can see if it's better than what you have.

Cheers, might be interested in buying if it is and you're selling. Was talking with Glazios a couple of days ago about trying to make it back for TFnation next time.

Yes, it's really not like today ordering online. Back then I had to use those ""collect them all" pamphlets and circle the ones I wanted, sometimes posting them abroad. Wish I still had a few more spare.

I probably bought my KO set from the same seller. Going to wait until I go back to Japan to see if I can see (and possibly buy) a vintage set.

    Congrats!
I have mine from childhood still in box and complete. Would never have thought out of all my collection he would be the most valuable, never thought much of him or Diver who I received at the same time.

When I was a kid my dad went out of town for work and brought back some toys for my sister and me. I got Onslaught, which was probably the wrong thing he could have given me. Now I need 4 more toys dad!! Haha That looks really nice btw.

    Very nice! Congrats

Metalhawk is right at the top of my wants list. Wish I'd tracked one down years ago, the prices on JG1 are insane these days

I discovered Fangry later in life, but was lucky enough to snag this gorgeous unused fella with just an unreal box. He is now one of my favs. He just pops.

So I’m in the process of packing up my collection and noticed that my G1 figures are yellowing. I keep them in a room with blinds closed and blackout curtains. I use a smart light that I set to bright white vs. yellow lighting. What am I doing wrong? What can I do to save my collection?

Try and keep the temperature consistent. Low but not cold, no extremes in heat. Don't store the figures in plastic totes as that can cause a chemical reaction.

But honestly with even all of that, all you can do is delay it, you cannot stop entropy.

    Plastic totes?

Hadn’t heard that one. Are you sure?
