I don't know if I just never saw it, but it feels like it took until now for someone to finally post a comparison picture of Kingdom BW Megs with ORIGINAL BW Megs. Lots of MP comparisons, but I never saw the original standing next to this new guy. Man, I love the height on him! That really works for me. Still iffy on the whole 'rubber skin for beast mode' idea in the long run. But I'm totally in on getting him.

 

May not mean much but from what appears to be Magnus's leg in that screen shot he is not standing fulling erect.

 

Is the tail weapon removable from Megatrons arm?

Just going to throw it out there, but we were told the Destiny Cards were for the various characters in Kingdom.

...and they've got "Autobot Ark" in the mix.

 

It does loom like it to me, can very clearly see a 5mm peg and port, it looks removable but who knows, maybe its screwed in? If given thr choice, if prefer to have the option of taking it off.

Well in one screen shot Magnus was bigger than Skyfire, in another Cyclonus was a giant and much bigger than Galvatron, as long as they are about there / close enough, its good enough for most to say it scales well etc

 

I think that's just where the screw is for the arm. Tony tried to remove it but it wouldn't budge

 

Yeah this is I think the third set of pics or video I've seen and it hasn't come off yet. Boggles the mind.

 

If you look near the wrist, where the pin goes through, you can see that pinkish piece continues forward past the hand and into the tail. In fact, it looks like the whole arm (minus the hand, which appears to flip under for beast mode) down to the part where the tip connects (on the black mushroom peg) is all one piece. The ligher lavender/purple plastic clips around this piece.

@Tony_Bacala if it isn't too much trouble, can you check Megatron and see if the arm and the same colored plastic part the mushroom joint connects to is all one piece? Its the part circled in red in the pic in this post.

 

It does suck if it's not removable, like all the partsforming figures they have had and they can't have it where it would really count and where most people would want it (don't have an issue with partsforming personally btw). He looks like an awesome figure just a bit of a shame.

 

Does Cyclonus have light piping?

Wasn't the duck first seen with TM Megatron? For S1 it was the toothbrush right? MP Megatron doesn't have a rubber duck but that's if you care about that type of consistency etc anyone can imagine he had it earlier

Yep. This is why I’m always so confused when people ask for the rubber ducky to go with s1 megatron like I’d understand with TM megatron but why s1? The toothbrush accessory would be great tho.

 

Yeah, I'm not a stickler for consistency when it comes to his rubber ducky.  

 

I'll be that guy. I've been impressed by what they have done with the G1 re-imaginings, by and large with Siege. That Cyclonus looks amazingly well done. One of the best they have done. Everything else is very "meh."

And it's not that I purely like G1. This Airachnid isn't in the ballpark of, say, the TFPrime form.
