Tbh with spike all is not lost because he’s coming with both Bee 2.0 and Hound, and intend to place my preorder for Bee really soon. If his leg or arm breaks I’ll just swap it over. No need for two spikes

The only thing that was out of the ordinary was it looks like customs struck again, cause the box was opened and one of the MP-44's boxes was slightly damaged. Nothing major as I was going to open one of them anyways.

 

I’ve been book marking every page with the knee fixes. Thanks a lot @Jarrod & @BrutiKing for all the info ! Glad to see you guys managed to find a way to fix the figure instead of mass returns .

Hm, mine is stuck in customs today too. I’m expecting an opened box. Should have him tomorrow as he’s already in town!

 

You know TT will just keep pumping them out with this issue if people don't complain or return them. If anything these home fixes probably void being able to return them.

I didn't think I'd brave it this soon after getting him into bot mode, BUT, I just finished the reverse transformation back into truck. Gotta say....that was a lot more pleasant. lol

There is something soooooo satisfying about hearing those CLICKS when you are putting stuff back together; ESPECIALLY those final two side pieces of the truck.

So is the knee ratchet issue across all units or just a few sporadic incidents?

 

Just went through my first transformation of MP 44. Make sure you slide the front wheels back alittle before flipping them in! I hadn’t noticed that step in any of the videos. Took me 15 min to figure out why the wheels wouldn’t flip up.

It sounds like it’s tight on everything and in need of a bit of care, but not an exploding knee across all releases.

 

Sadly this is becoming the rule, not the exception. I'm very close making the decision to skip first runs of any MP so I wont have to run the risk of being hit by one of these now seemingly inevitable issues.

 

I’ve been cramming every drop of information on his conversion to bot mode from pictures, reviews and here and honestly I think that if he wasn’t so expensive I’d take a crack at doing it without the instructions. It’s all been burned into my retinas
