This is why you wouldnt see the film? Your logic is equivalent to that of a 3 year old ..moving on Optimus riding Grimlock looks even better. Im more excited for this movie than I was for TASM2 now!

I love Michael Bay for these movies but I have to agree with this.

I don't think people need to be able to do better at something to judge someone for it.

THAT SAID. People HAVE to keep in mind how difficult it is and understand that making CGI like Transformers is a long and sometimes rushed process. Rushed, not by choice, but by the boss.

Well, stuff like Crosshairs goggles, giving Galvatron a gun and changing it to a hand, just seems like their playing around with CGI. Maybe it will make sense within the context of the movie, but I don't know...

I'm not really opposed to Grimlock's size change, but did it need to be done?

Just wait until they make Optimus shoot first, or change Lockdown's gun face into a walkie talkie, lol!

 

The plot is finalized long before the movie hits the SFX stage. The money spent to work on the plot was spent ages ago, and the amount of money allotted to SFX was decided ages ago as well.

Revisions to effects at this point have no impact on the plot. What you're looking at is the SFX team trying to do their job, which is to make the movie look as good as possible.

Edit: Seeing how the FX teams for movies are often working 24/7 up to the last possible moment to finalize the shots, and each change can require re-rendering, I highly doubt they're "playing around." If a change is made, it's made because somebody thought it looked better, not to flippantly change stuff up.

I honestly don't mind Grimlock's size HE IS STILL HUGE! Just wait 'till we see him in robot mode!(if they decided to make him transform)

For the millionth time its not G1. Grimlock is closer to his original self in that he is a Dinobots and a TRex. Quit complaining about the smallest things. Its a whole different continuity and a whole different story. Just be glad the Dinobots are on the big screen.
