Part of me wants to point out that the '76 Bumble design never had the hip fenders, but part of me is also saying that it really should've had them in the first place.

Also, I'm totally gonna nickname that design "Stryker Bumble" off of his codename from now on.

Very happy to see old Camaro BB making the rounds again. Definitely increases the hope for it to show on the bigscreen briefly as well as get a MPM treatment. But I dislike the QC I saw on TLK Bumblebee to the point I didn't even chase him, and thought he was awkwardly proportioned. He went from a highly anticipated figure to not even on the consideration list. This one is a wait and see

 

I’m so glad that they chose the 70’s Camaro Bee over the other ones because that is the version I like best. I used to have the original 2007 70’s Bee toy but the legs snapped off after just a few days of ownership of it. But this looks like it will be a brilliant replacement. 

 

For your information, I simply mashed my original Camaro Bee figure against my keyboard. Thankfully, both are resilient enough that neither were harmed.

 

...Wait, his blaster's finally on the right side! Hopefully it's just been mirrored from the TLK W3B so we can get some Double Blaster action! (I wasn't really bothered by it being a seperate accessory)

 

That figure would have been belissimo if I could have tracked down the clear blue windows version. Such a shame that the mass-produced Hasbro version omitted these for stability reasons

Still a lot of good memories with it though. And I was in the midst about two years ago of modifying one to make it more accurate. Glad that procrastination saved the day for once

 

Man that flat gray really kills it.... this Camaro and the AOE Black Bee were my favorite modes and that TLK Wave 3 Bee is awesome but no the gray is just... ugh

IMO, this is one of the best-looking movie Bumblebee figures yet!

 

We did not. So far alt mode wise we’ve got a Pontiac, a Lamborghini, a Camaro, a Pagani, a suburban, a hummer, a topcick, an M-1 Abrams, a Peterbuilt, an F-22, a pave low, and a whole bunch of stuff that doesn’t need licensing.

My personal bet is that it’s sideswipe, or possibly the fourth character from the bee movie.

Sideswipe and Crosshairs would be excellent in this line. Sideswipe is a most likely though. Anyone see a Mercedes-Benz logo too? I wanna know of a Drift, Que, and Soundwave..

 

I never understood molding plastic only to cast it in black, hiding all the detail. Why not grey?

 

Bumblebee is the Snake Eyes of the Transformers franchise. The fans go nuts over every release even though it's basically the same old boring crap they've already seen a million times before. 

 

Except this is the first time we've gotten this design in toy form in over ten years and its only the second time. I wouldn't exactly say its the same crap we've seen a million times. Boring is an opinion though, and you have a right to that.

 

Huh, interesting. Pontiac, Suburban, Hummer and Topkick are all GM vehicles as well but the legalese doesn't mention them. I would think they would write one statement and put it on every appropriate release.
