View attachment 27934081 So I like the idea of the prime masters fitting into the various figures and being interchangeable with the Matrix. I do not like however that you lose the playability of the Prime Master itself, and that there are currently way more places to put Prime masters than were are going to get. I also don't like having different colored masters all over the figures. So, I am working on these. I plan on collecting as many of the Prime Masters and Enigmas as I can, molding them, and casting them in color. So far I have the Rodimus Matrix, the Dinobot enigmas, and the three wave one masters. I unfortunately have not been able to get ahold of the Seeker Enigma, as I have no interest in that Starscream. If anyone would like to lend me theirs for a brief period I would much appreciate it. I would be also interested in any other of the Enigmas from future Voyager and Leader class figures. The first thing I needed to do was render a core brick to attach the Prime Master Symbols to. After than I printed off about 10 different variants to get one that fit correctly. They are currently smooth sided, I don't have any plans on detailing the sides as it would interfere with a tight fit. The next thing I will do is mold and cast them. I have the materials ordered, I should have them molded by the end of next week. Here is what I have so far. I am thinking of casting them in transparent colors. Maybe Blue for Autobots, Red for Dinobots, Purple for Deceptions. Each combiner team could have a signature color. Ideas and thoughts?
Ok so I was rather delayed on this project. I finally got the first five Prime Cores molded and a first cast run. I am quite pleased with how they came out. Great fit and excellent detail retention. Now to play with color.
I currently have an orangeish batch in the pressure pot. Anyone have any suggestions on colors they think would be fitting?
Red possibly? I'd personally like to see a more teal, or perhaps aqua blue. A color similar to the Mateix of leadership.
