Torn here. Love the alt mode and head sculpt, not wild about the bot mode. Looking forward to review videos, but so far doesn't seem like a great value for my money. It'd be one hell of a voyager, but seems a skimpy leader.

 

I agree, he's definitely missing something. He's screaming for spikey shoulder pads and a cape imho.

I couldn't agree more. It's kinda hilarious actually.

He looks really badass, I mainly wish he had more color in his design. Maybe a deep indigo.

While he doesn't seem that worth it as a Leader (I hope he comes with more than just the sword and gun) and I wish they had the grill transform to be good in the alt mode, I am here for a giant death-metal robot with a tentacle claw hand on one arm and a fnaf nightmare animatronic claw on the other, not to mention an oddly Egyptian Pharoah looking head. Really hope that we see Nightbird soon enough, unless she's wave 2.

 

I\'m not sure why they go out of there way to make Transformers movie designs to be more complicated then they need to be and just make them a little old school robotic than alien with tentacles. 
 

 

As one who is indifferent to the Beyverse and has no nostalgia for the Beast era, I usually have no comment on anything ROTB.

But he crosses over. Looks like a badass murder machine. Love the big ol'hands and the big grill. Good head sculpt. This channels G1 Scourge's head into the movie-verse without going to the places where I usually dislike Beyforms. This just looks awesome. And the Beyverse Studio Series, love 'em or hate 'em, always have top notch alt modes.

As a figure, remains to be seen how much posability and articulation it'll have.

Only other downside is the more realistically metal and rusty he looks, it makes it hard to pick out the details in the sculpt.

 

I love the way this looks! Truly a Movieverse Edgelord RID Lockdown/Tarn/SCOURGE if there ever was to be one. I like that they kind of took some nods from a little bit of each of those villains and made a unique design that stands out. I'm intrigued to see if he's a little bulkier on screen of if he maintains his cartoon villain arched neck and lanky proportions.

However like many have said.... this might be the instance where I just wait for the inevitable OSKO. While I like the proportions from a design perspective, and this toy itself looks fine, I would just prefer a larger take on the design.

Not too bad from this angle. It kinda reminds me of one of those LOTR Ringwraiths...

If one ends up on sale later this year or next year for half off I'll add it to my Dead-verse collection..

 

Frankly I think the design really needed to lean far more into that The Fallen 'always on fire' aesthetic. Orange highlights on the limbs absolutely would have broken up the black and gray to give the visuals more punch. It's why Nemesis Prime variants usually have red or baby blue as contrasting colors.

 

Yep, this figure seems pretty perfect to the model. Very lanky, big under-slung sword, etc. The "dreadlocks" don't look to be there on the model we've seen so far, but it's pretty damn accurate.

 

I thought he\'s kind of cool. I\'m not 100% sold on the design, but I am a fan of the big claw. Then I saw that he\'s supposed to be a leader class, which immediately made him too expensive for me. Maybe on sale.
