Want that fuckin' Spartan Laser Huffer.

 

I like how we got both images of the way the Styracosaurus head can be put on in robot mode. The Kamen Rider Saber arm through the mouth and the Styracosaurus head facing up.

 

The more I see Huffer I want him! Roll on March.

 

I wish Takara would go back to doing their own paint schemes/deco of the characters. Gave me a chance to buy two and the Takara version usually looked better than Hasbro.

 

But thanks to the unification its resulted in the better quality over all.

 

Huffer looks great, I especially like the split weapon on the truck bed.

I wonder if the eventual Pipes with have a reversed torso, or just be a new-head-repaint.

 

Huffer looks pretty awesome. The one thing I dislike about him so far is the visible hollowness on his calves, though at least he'll have plenty range on his knees. Hopefully his chest also doesn't sit too close to the ground in truck mode where his wheels don't have enough clearance. Otherwise he's a must buy.

He's probably moping about how he wanted a type-51 carbine instead as we speak.

 

This is true, and the decos of the toys are much better than they were before. Sure there are some that are kind of blah, but overall since the unification domestic hasbro toys look as good as some of the older Prime wars Takara stuff. To me at least.

 

He's a man of taste, at least.

But still, it's oddly satisfying to imagine Huffer of all characters wielding something that is at least powerful enough to one-hit-kill tanks as a handgun. All the years of Huffer misery, being snubbed for new moulds, and now he's one of the deadliest armed. "No world, you put your hands up!"

 

It was so cool a GoBot be came a Transformer. A Transformers tv series needs to be made about that.

Anybody remember when the TAKARA releases were better/different compared to the Hasbro toys?

Well, he was the canonical "hates everything" guy before Movie Bonecrusher showed up.

Guess that should've been a warning sign. Little dude finally got tweaked enough to finally do something about all that.

I had to get SMegs via RK(EF their search engine) too (a bit cheaper than TTM I have to admit) and scored the others via other suppliers. TT is sure as heck obssessed with their zero inventory targets. Good that our JP bros and sis get them guaranteed unlike the clusterfK of Target but it's like almost a 9 mos gap(enough time to make a baby).
