I'd like to see them crossover with Jem. After all isn't that a Hasbro property too?

 

Action Man #2 hints at the Jem's existence and from the comics I've read their just a normal band, their not off fight crime and stuff like that.

 

Ossio mentions in that interview how he redesigned Blackrock, and IDW doesn't exactly follow the toys religiously; their Titan Masters themselves are pretty different from how the toyline portrays them.

I haven't been a big fan of most of the idw TF run, and absolutely loathe everything they did with GI Joe, save the first Cobra miniseries. I even made it thru the Dreamwave and DDP TF and Joe runs, so they REALLY messed up these properties pretty bad. Especially the Joes.

But, I am willing to try Revolution and the spin-offs. Worse case scenario, I go back to ignoring them. Too many great Comics out there to be upset about the bad ones.

 

So this way they'll be able to keep everything linked together while all the other series stick in their respective corners. I like it.  

So Blackrock/Soverign is going to be member of this team? Gotta admit though, the way he's drawn is kind of misleading. But if he is a good guy, then his character seems to be taking a really interesting route.

 

All they have to do is retcon that the tech that made Syngery was reverse engineered TF tech. That was all of the Hasbro properties are there. Except for My Little Pony. I can't think of a way to make that fit.

 

I don't remember how they explained Synergy creation, but the comic is set in it's own little corner of the world, like Batgirl is with Burnside so I don't think the Jems need to show up to be part of the shared universe.

 

I'd be happy with an acknowledgement, which Account Man did. Maybe even have a billboard in the background. Just like Stark Industries logos showing up in Marvel movies.

 

Who or what is Syenergy?

 

She's a character in the girls' franchise JEM, which is a sibling franchise to Transformers along with My Little Pony and GI Joe.

An alternate dimension? Of course they can just be a brief cameo appearance, nothing too major.

 

Ah, Jem and the Holograms, got it. Jem was listed on the IDW app along with the other Hasbro-verse comics. So I guess that's an indicator of them being a part of this universe, of ever so minor.

 

That little guy on the soldier dude's shoulder looks like Apollo Geist.

 

I think the way that it got described at the SDCC Revolution panel is that Jem is technically part of the 'Revolution-verse', and there can be little nods like Action Man's Misfits poster, but there's never going to be, like, Dire Wraiths infiltrating the Holograms or whatever because it's not a sci-fi/action story like all the others. Jem will exist in its own little bubble, safe from any scary goings-on.
