Seeing as the game is now officially discontinued and me arriving late to the party I was wondering if there were any templates to start making custom cards cause I saw Fort Max and I would like to create Scorpinok to counter that plus some Beast Wars characters.

 

Yeah, the Alpha Trion Protocols for ongoing events were created using MSE. You can make personal custom cards this way too.

Nice. I was in process of making a movie set of cards and had to custom design everything from from to gradient. This will be so much better!

Wow! Thanks! Much appreciated! One thing I wish was included is a template to make Shattered Glass characters.

 

According to the guy who did the MSE TF tcg template, it's in the works!



(of which, I already have a Shattered Glass Optimus already in the works, just not with this soon to come template yet   )

 

I did one for both Optimus and Megatron mostly mirroring their original Wave 1 effects but with Optimus using the Decepticon frame and Megs the Autobot one but I do love using the Energon Edition frame.




Actually I'm kinda working on a Optimus Primal pack that's along the lines of Fort Max kinda going through his Transmetal forms. We'll have Optimal Optimus then when he goes down we have Transmetal Optimus Primal then when he goes down we get Season 1 Primal.

Might do something similar with Megatron but right now I'm just having fun with the templates.

Speaking of custom cards. I'm currently working on the Reformatted set (a set dedicated mainly to Enigma based combiners, amongst other cards as well) and it the midst of thoroughly play testing the cards. However, I wanted to have people take a sneak peak at what's to come (as well as opening the option for all of you to try out and test the cards first hand to provide feedback of your actual game play experiences). Sentinel is misspelled Dentinal in the title of the Sentinel Combiner Team cards.

 

Odd. I don't see a 'D' in there on the title of any of those cards in neither the doc file nor MSE file. It should appear as Sentenial (yes, purposely spelled Sen-te-ni-al). Would you mind taking a screenshot?

 

So I've been tinkering a bit and feeling that Fort Max could be buffed a bit more since I see in playthroughs he goes down a little too easily ad wanted him to stay out a bit longer which is more befitting of a Titan so I decided to create a new stratagem card for him. I apologize in advance if it's OP. I would appreciate some feedback  

 

Wait, what? Fortress Maximus gets top tournament placements as is, why does he need buffs?

 

Oh, I wasn't aware of that. It just seemed from the videos I've seen where he's played he seemed to go down too easily. My bad.

 

Oh no problem, it makes sense that without a big OP scene people are missing out on how the meta has developed. Check out this list to see how Fort Max should run.

Looks awesome, I don't play TCG, but additions like maybe the modular bases, like Ironworks might make an interesting mechanic

 

Does Fiery Champion's Sword start out of the main deck? If so, does the pip matter?

That would be awesome, the issue with the modular bases is the need to get art commissioned for the cards.
