I'm doing this against my better judgement, cause you're one of members that I do like, but I dislike indirect jabs.

No one's asking for a Hasbro boycott. We're AAAALL obviously going to keep buying their toys, but we also have the right to criticize shitty work that's being put forth by Hasbro for one figure, and not even the figure itself, but the crappy trailer/ weapons/ jetpack.

That said, if there's a rule that states we can't criticize toys on this thread, then by all means send it my way, and I'll refrain from doing so in the future.

I know this thread has become a general purpose movieverse figure thread, but “appreciation” IS supposed to be the purpose of being in here, and saying stuff like “hasbro puts out crap” kinda puts a damper on things. It’s not illegal, but if there’s a lot of criticism it does bum me and some others out.

They do but I think they mean that we haven't seen any new announcements on the line yet. They have said there are more coming (the rest of Devastator) and there are some leaks but Hasbro/Takara Tomy haven't shown us anything new on this line for a while. I imagine we will be seeing some things soon.

Side note: Did anyone else order DOTM Leader Prime from Amazon and not have it ship yet? It still says coming Monday but they are usually faster about shipping things than this.

I think criticism is fine, but constant bashing like "Hasbro puts out crap, Studio series is dead, this figure sucks, etc" is draining.

Come now, I'd think that most of us here would be mature enough to look past criticism of any particular toy, specially one that doesn't pertain to the person getting offended by the criticism.

That particular convo went on, for abt 15 mins tops, if even that (adding up all replies throughout the day). You make it seem like it just went on for days.

I'm not trying to be argumentative here, but as I've said before, people have right to dislike something and express that, w/o having to worry about someone's day getting damped just because they dislike the criticism about a toy they don't even have.

And yes, "Appreciation" is the name of the thread, but it's a little native think that every single person here will "appreciate" every single aspect of every single toy. As stated in the first paragraph, most of us here should be mature enough to look past criticism, and not get offended/bothered by it.

Before I update my sales thread, is anyone in here interested in a genuine (non-KO) DOTM leader class striker Optimus? Had him since 2012, thinking about selling since I’ve had the clear Woonderfest version for a while already too. PM me if you’re interested!

Ah, so it's the wording that's the problem. Got it. I'll just say inferior product then.

And again, it wasn't constant, at least not from me.

The top of my list would be Hot Rod. Primarily because I'd like to have an orange Autobot that isn't Mudflap.
I'd like to own a Deluxe "Lieutenant" that turns into the Spitfire plane, so my SS Autobots could have a Deluxe plane guy. Fat chance of that happening though.

A new mold for TLK Megatron that looks (almost) as good as the Unique Toys version would be excellent. Though I think 2007 and Galvatron designs should probably be made first.

This has been a very good line tbh. My only complaint is the recent Dotm Leaders Optimus Prime which really needs a crap ton more paint app

I agree, SS is a great line with only a few duds. And the criticism against primes trailer is understandable. Its using the trailer as a scapegoat to bash Hasbro for being cheap across the whole line, saying the SS line is doom due to Sieges recent reveals(Hasbro would be shooting themselves in the foot if they cancel SS this early).
    Sideswipe.

    Clear Wonderfest version? Any pics?

The weird thing about SS DOTM leader Prime is that it has painted windows....instead of just painting the frame, the entire windshield is painted silver!

I'm grabbing it but wish it had the translucent windows SS32 has.

38 Optimus Prime is available at BBTS now. Wonder if I should pick up another. One to keep in package and the other to open.

I keep thinking your custom Optimus is some sort of 3A figure. He honestly looks more accurate than any of the mpm primes! It sure is an awesome custom! :)
I love both, but I think Sideswipe is probably the better pick if you had to choose between the two

Oh man Space Case is an absolute favorite. Terradive was great and Space Case is even better

This fandom is full of ungrateful whiners what do you expect. But yeah it is annoying to see post upon post it

I still love Challenger because I'm a sucker for Optimus Prime, I've also not had enough time with La Hire to nail down a definitive opinion. (Night shift leaves little time for play. ) For the moment, Challenger is my favorite, but La Hire has a lot going for him.

My comment was mostly in jest, but I'll agree with @Shmoptimus Prime , it is draining to come to an appreciation thread and read quite a few comments in a row doing the exact opposite of that. The movieverse stuff gets crapped on enough, it's nice to have a break from it.
