Boy you’re not kidding about suffering through KO’s. I’ve got a few that are just slowly falling apart due to inferior plastic and design flaws. I’ve got a KO sonicwave who’s tape deck needs to be kept closed with the friction of a little piece of cardboard or foil. Ugh.

That’s the one I have. The THF sonicwave. Was fine for a while. Then the door stopped closing. I’ve got that skywarp too. Thinking of getting the Thundercracker from that manufacturer

Do you by any chance know how I would getting my sonicwave’s tape deck door to shut? Is there a way to get it to latch better?

i generally only tranform once then display, so the majority of my items stay fairly tight. i do repose from time to time, but minimal transforming probably helps keep mine as tight as they are going to get. will TLC if i have to.
that sw was the first kbb/thf product i ever got that was partly arse. to be fair to kbb it came with the tape/seal already broken. perhaps someone broke it and returned it. idk.. but it did come with a broken hip connection.. i fixed it and all is well now. howev, been seeing other having issues with their seekers. my thundercracker was as good as the scream i use to have. but ive see some with issues with that one aswell .. so those may be very qc roll of the dice gambles.

    JinBao OS superior, NBK inferior.

u may want to check to see if that L looking hook is still a full L. u also may need to open the upper torso and check on the spring that aids the button assembly in holding that L shape tab hook in place is good to go

I have both. No contest; not even close. JB is the winner.

I *had* NBK, but after I learned of this oversized version I convinced my friend to take my NBK off my hands. It wasn't a terrible combiner, and he loves the heck out of it. I simply wanted the BBD (bigger, better deal).

Yup. Learned my lesson when I started to get into the KO’s. The ones I have I’ve only transformed a couple of times honestly. Either because they started getting loose as you said or they are just an engineering nightmare trying to get all the tabs and slots and panels to stay together. And then there are the squeaky joints. Is there no longer any 3rd party/KO company that prides itself on more on QC over volume or profit?

Shit. What if that L shaped hook broke? And I don’t even know how I’d go about opening up the torso. I mean I could try and see what I can find. The spring under the button huh? What should I be looking for?

No doubt JB is probably better quality. howev, ill argue just to argue for arguments sakes.

its nearly 3 times the price for an extra 15%?? in size. each set is almost the same price as an entire set of NBK. one could nearly have all three versions of nbk vs 1 flawed jinbao. apparently its wobbly as heck and isnt very stable. some ratchets are questionable and some individual robots are loose as. it is too big for people with the 14-15" scale needs.

will still get one, one day though.

perhaps you should be looking for a new copy of it. they are as low as 23-30 USD on taobao.

I like the Devastator I have. I have no intent on getting a replacement. I remain optimistic about the upgrade kit that someone is working on for me

lol. Again no contest. IF you think NBK joints are tight enough, you’ll think JBs are glued together. Again, I have both and making direct in hand comparison.

    Size notwithstanding
