Anyone else notice that the box art seemingly confirms Skywarp for the other two-pack? What looks like Skywarp's wing can be seen to the right of Mirage's arm. I hope we still get Nightprowler somewhere.

 

Well whoever chose this Deco really blew it. With the proper deco this would have been an enormous hit.

I live by the motto “it could always be worse” so I think both are acceptable.

I will be disappointed if Mirage doesn’t have shoulder ports, but it’s not a deal breaker for me. I’m just happy I can transform him without worrying he’ll break.

 

A shame there is no cow spots on Grimock lol! Ordered!

I'm 99% sure it doesn't peg to the shoulder.

If he's still got a port in his back, you might be able to get it to rest on his shoulder using a weaponizer piece or a Nonnef adapter or similar.

Eh, I actually prefer siege mirage and grimlock is kinda bland... easy pass

 

For anyone still on the fence for these, or who are just waiting for them to be sold individually, remember what happened with the Conehead set or the G1 Prowl/Ironhide set or the Ratchet and Lifeline set. The figures became incredibly hard to get not long after, and yeah they still can be found individually on eBay... some of them for two times the preorder price.

I would secure the preorder with Amazon or Hasbro Pulse, think about it and cancel the preorder (very easy with Amazon, not sure about Hasbro Pulse) if you decide you don't like any of the figures. Or keep the preorder and sell the other one later if you don't like it, and not risk missing out on the one you actually want.

 

Pre-ordered but Hasbro can you restock Ratchet and Lifeline? Thnx

Especially if you're someone who's on the fence about that Mirage. FOMO will kick in and people will eventually realize they wanted him. You'll be able to unload him at cost easily and likely at a profit later.

 

It\'s... aight. I wasn\'t expecting Mirage to be too different from the Siege one, but I don\'t get what\'s up with the shoulders. Why are those different? Seems like a needless change that\'s only hindering the figure. Then again I\'m usually wrong. Until we get a hands-on review, I\'m hopefull.

 

Welp I put in preorders both on amazon and pulse. At least if amazon gets fucky with preorders again should at least get a set

 

If it can't, that's a real bummer. They came so close to a really great Mirage here and then REMOVE a feature that is part of his character design? Doesn't make any sense to me.

 

I would agree, I'm a big fan of shoulder cannons and so far I'm liking the siege mirage much more

 

Probably not. Both Earthrise Ironhide and Ratchet were Amazon exclusive 2-packs and you still can’t get that mold any other way.
