Is DOTM influenced by...(Spoilers)

    ...Animated?

    After that major Spoiler outbreak, I realized all the numerous things in Animated that DOTM is reminding me of.
    Here is what I mean:
    -Sentinal is an asshole(Again)
    -Optimus proves he is wiser than Sentinal
    -Starscream is a talking head
    -Megatron's final operation in Animated took place on the moon and then to Earth...
    -Shockwave and Sentinal involved in the same story
    -Wheeljack is really smart

    It's not a long list but these similarities are unmistakable. Could the Storywriters have been trying to please fans because they knew that so many of them liked Animated?

    well wheeljack was always smart in any universe. but i do see the similarities.

    Starscream a talking head? where in DOTM is that...actually don't answer i wanna be surprised.

    there is a scene in the comic where megs is being talked to by starscreams head as they talk about sentinel.

    But yes this movie seems to have ripped the story from the pages of animated. quite a bit .

    especially if you mention the moon part of it totally forgot about that.

    i bet we're all gonna laugh our asses off at the talking starscream head. ..but wait, in the comic mirage bites it being decapitated, so why isnt he gonna be a talking head?

    Well since no one has been talking about the influence for the changes coming in the third film I think it's possible.

    Although if they were taking things from Animated I really wish they were taking how damn tough the Decepticons were in that series. Short of a super villain humans couldn't do crap to a Decepticon and it took Autobot team work to take them down instead of working them over like jobbers.
