I'd love an MP Galaxy convoy...hell, any MP of the leaders from the Japanese G1 stuff would be great for the MP line.

 

If there\'s one thing, I would\'ve wanted to come with Unicron, it\'s an actual Galvatron. Hell, I would\'ve liked to get all of the heralds of Unicron. But when you think about it, they\'ll probably do a line for the movie and third season of g1 as the 3rd part of the trilogy. Let\'s just hope these guys are given justice.

 

I m ok with functionist Primus or war within primus. The one from War for cybertron is also a candidate, though we have only seen him as vector sigma.

Well said! I don’t mind paying a bit more as long as we are getting more. Throw in blast effects with each figure (like they fit with Jetfire and OS), less visible hollow molds, etc. It is up to Hasbro to ensure we consumers perceive the price increase as justified. Paying more for less won’t do.

They dont put the count just the percentage, but my math says 22480....

 

The Seacons are much easier to do comparatively, since they're all retools of existing molds. Raiden would have to be entirely new molds, so more likely something Hasbro and TakaraTomy would do together rather than just TakaraTomy on their own.

To be fair, they've been "experimenting" with those $25 deluxe Black Series for at least 4 years now. I would guess we'd see $21.99 as the next jump in a few years, perhaps.

That's current, due to the Star Wars Force Friday sales - not regarding Unicron.

If anything, this project shows exactly why there's still a focus on G1 - it's where the money is. They've been sneaking in bits and pieces from other lines for a while now, and thankfully they're starting to sell consistently as well. When they did 3-4 Beast Wars figures during Thrilling 30, they all languished till clearance - online and in store - and could still be purchased (online at least) a full year later. (To be fair, Scoop and Nightbeat did the same thing, but we're talking the entire subset with the BW figures) Same with Armada Megatron. With the reception they seem to be getting now, I hope it's a good sign that they continue to sprinkle in some of these figures, both for the people that really want them, and because I like "new" characters.

 

Now that annoying Unicron is out of the way it’s time for Cookie Monster to get his due!
