The funny thing is that nobody will buy that volume of Coronation Starscream's! You goofball!

Well if they truly aren't making SS Twins then our only hope is for 3P to come in and make SS scaled Twins so we can complete our SS collections.

There would be riots on the streets if he said that about G1.

Leader class, even at the new price point, is $55. 55 x 20,000 = $1.1 million.

Or did you mean one case of 2 Starscreams and one case of 1 Starscream and a Sludge? I'm probably just missing something obvious, lol.

These run $20-30, and the inner Thanos figure alone probably cost about the same as a current Core Class figure. So they could most definitely have it transform the arms away.

They could do something similar for voyager price point.

The shell may not have full articulation, but at least the arms move pretty well. Plus Voyager is the price point where they could flush out the main cast of Pretenders.

It is not impossible, I just think they don't want to do shells.

    uhh, they've already been bought

stores buy them from hasbro, not customers

every single coronation starscream you've ever seen in a store has already been purchased in the only way that matters

I'm ok with them having bumped Deathsaurus to Haslab so that he could be scaled to Victory Saber properly. I bet even as a commander class something would have been lost.

Yeah, I am envisioning a retail Deathsaurus with no Chest Masters and and maybe one gun.

With Haslab we will at least get everything it should come with from the get go.

I said two cases of each case assortment Starscream appeared in. As in, accounting for all Starscreams.

    2 sets of 2 case assortments featuring a total of 3 Starscreams, aka 6 Starscreams. That's $3,300,000.

That's being real conservative, though. Like, stores will get more than 2 of each case assortment.

You're the same person who said the model of Deathsaurus shown off is just the figure they were gonna release as a Leader with just the hollow parts covered up, right?

or at least have the bigger pretenders that had transforming shells (thunderwing) have them. I would love a commander class thunderwing, or a leader class roadblock with the car shell transforming pretender shell, and a core class inner robot. The car shell could be a weaponizer that turns into armor for the shell.

Fine, substitute any other leader class toy. It's not actually about the individual toy, but the numbers.

I only selected Coronation Starscream as my example because, as it's been noted, he sticks around and so it's evidence of multiple cases having been purchased by the store. Our local Target has 6, and those all appeared with Sludges, so that's six cases right there, from one store.

    The point is:

Leader Classes make more money for Hasbro than Haslabs, just based on numbers alone.

I'm not arguing, I was just laughing at coronation screamer :D  continue conversing with that odd copium creature you were replying to

And it's about double the price it would have been as a commander. Motormaster was £103, deathsaurus is £190 before postage.

Let's say they released a core class breastmaster separately. Now it's around £120, £125 at most. For most people, that's enough.

If, for whatever reason, someone wanted more stuff, maybe a £40 for upgrade kits. Still only £165 at most.

A deluxe price with a core and a shell? As long as the shell is articulated, sign me up! Just find a way to make the human ones less human..

Much as I loved the merged Pretenders, I'd be all for a core + shell sold as a deluxe for some characters.

STRANGLEHOLD, please and thank you. There's no good way to do him that isn't "half naked Tom Selleck with a robot inside."

Nah... regarding AOE and TLK, i like to think THEY haven\'t figure out how to make a Studio Series Western Star Optimus Prime.
Don\'t forget the abomination the Leader Class \"bagpack\" version was.

They designed a voyager version of that OP for TLK but it was still without it kibbles and flaws.

I miss the time where Hasbro designers go all out when they designed ROTF figures.
Leader Class OP still holds up to this day. In fact half of it\'s design was integrated to MPM-12.

Yeah, you are not wrong... I mean, it seems the value isn't there unless it hits all the tiers...same could be said for all Haslabs.

Also this is only 11K quantity. If all Targets and Walmarts put in an order for this offering they would probably order 3X that, making the cost much less per figure. That is why Hasbro needs retail to survive. Their buying power is much greater.
