I can say that there's a 95% probability we'll do 8PM shows on July 2nd. It would be quite awesome to have you guys come out. i'm working on doing some trivia and coloring contests from which one might win prizes...but that's all still up in the air. In sightings news, the S. Lakeland Target has lots of cool stuff, including Robovision Prime and the Scouts. I'm so tempted by RVPrime (heh...Prime as an RV...heh). And Blue Arcee is a nice repaint, but...I'm saving for Botcon... -Tony!
The Robo Prime is a nice toy when not compared to the leader Prime. I just picked him up a couple of days ago and I am happy with the purchase. This morning I was out at Wal-Mart by I275. They had an entire pallet, still wrapped, of TF movie toys. I don't think I have ever seen an etire pallet like that devoted to TF. I can't imagine where they are going to put it. They used to have an entire ilse just for Spidey 3/Shrek/Pirates3 stuff but that is all gone now so I don't know what the heck they will do with it.
I'll post it for all to see, just in case anyone else wants directions: Address: Cobb Theatres Lakeside 18 1650 Town Center Dr. Lakeland, FL 33813 http://www.cobbtheatres.com Directions: take I-4 to the Polk Parkway (preferably the exit on the west side of Lakeland, as it's faster). Take the Polk Parkway to exit 5, Hardin Blvd. Go north on Harden, and the Lakeside Village Shopping Center is on the left. The theatre's in the back of the complex. -Tony!
ya tony i will definetly try to get there if u get it on the 2nd. i got some friends in ur neck o the woods see if i can get them to come with me.
found leader-class megatron at kmart today. only one, though, and i put it on lay-a-way. here's hoping that the film isn't a stinker, $45 is a lot of cash for a toy..
Heck yes--one hundred seventeen missions and I've only missed watching a handful of them. Lump in the throat every time.
Wouldn't miss it for the world! I had my tv on the NASA channel then ran out to my back yard at lift off. If there's a reason to stay in central Fl, that's it. I've got a year pass to KSC so I got invited to the preview of the "shuttle launch experience" thing last month. Unfortunately, my wife and I both worked that night but I'll definitely go see it when it officially opens (late July, I think).
Wife started having some contractions, and then things stalled. Didn't get in to the Hasbro visit at Botcon. Wasted a day of family leave from work. I'm depressed. I'm gonna go get a Robovision Prime. -Tony! P.S.: Ironesock FTW.
Ironesock... Awesome. On the sightings front, Rinehart Road Wal-Mart has plenty of everything, even the Prime for the Ages set and BB/Barricade one. The only thing they didn't have was Leader Megs. They also had both variations of Cyber-Stompin' Prime and the Prime Helmet.
Sanford Target seems to have restocked since Onesock's reports last weekend. Picked up Bonecrusher and Wreckage and they still had almost everything else there except Skorponok and Barricade. There was a Leader Megs there as well.
