I think he looks great in this scheme but I can't justify spending another $40 on the same mold so soon. I'll get him if I see him on clearance.

 

Despite the laziness-factor involved with Prime still being half red (albiet a different shade of red), I think it looks nice. His arms and upper legs could have used a bit of silver though.

But I'm not going to buy it. I already picked up the original a few months ago (for a very good price, I might add). Would I buy this if I had yet to buy the original? Probably.

 

Sweet, Prime put on a nice sensible pair of black Dockers! So what were Primes "Final battle colors"?

I agree, this is a lazy repaint at best. I know its unlikely that they'll ever do this, but I wish they would've used this wasted opportunity to finally get the Piranhaking set released instead.

 

Gold. Lots and lots of shiny gold.
(well, that was just for the final blow. Otherwise he was the same colours as always)

Red and black looks great as a scheme, though a bit lazy for a repaint. Perhaps a mainline Prime in the future could use the colours as his initial scheme, though.

This I think would have looked cooler with the blue in the place of the red. Blue and black, different and a double homage with Hot Spot and one of the early Diaclone Convoys.

 

I think these colors are nice, just not nice enough for a second purchase.
