Nice Pics TFAO, those are great. Never thought of putting the FP targetmaster Blesser with Steelcore. Guess I'll go do that too since Blesser is still in package.

My SteelCore arrived, hurray. Looks nice.

But I broke him! I twisted his hand off. I always do first transformation with a videoreview so I dont break anything. And it looked like the reviewer is rotating his wrist without a problem so I tried it. I thought I feel a bit of movement so I thought its just sturdy, so I tried a little harder and it moved. But then I realized it wasnt meant to do that when it fell off :(

So, do you have any idea how to fix it? Maybe there is a way how to give him proper wrist swivel?

The hand is a separate piece with a rectangular peg that was pushed into the arm piece. So a replacement hand piece would solve this. I will ask FP and FPC, but they dont usually help, right? :(

Did the rectangular peg shear off, or is it still attached?

Ironically I just got SteelCore myself last week, and I accidentally popped his hand off by trying to insert his gun handle incorrectly (should be bottom through to top of fist). Since the square peg was still attached, and no actual plastic shearing occurred, I just used a drop of "Gorilla Glue" to reattach the fist.

The peg is still inside. I dont think I can get it out. I can drill its plastic out so I have the hole empty again. Replacement hand would be great.

I'm sorry to see that. Instead of drilling out the broken piece, why not get a screw or metal peg that you can push through a hole from behind the wrist? You can also try to contact MegaMoonMan and see if he can design and 3D print out a replacement.

wow, that's some serious damage. Sorry to hear about that. At this stage with the product having been sold-out at "first-hand" FPC retailer, i don't think you can get any replacements now.

Sword Suggestion ; Energon/Superlink Green coloured Dinobot tail/sword.

Most things look great with the Carbot V axe too.

I was going to suggest using a strong superglue to glue the fist back on, because you have a relatively large surface area (the wrist) for the bond to work. Problem is Adhessives are good for tension loads, but weaker against torsional (twisting) loads. So if you glued it at the wrist, every time you tried to turn the wrist the glue might become brittle and break under that twisting load.

So I agree with Deaculpa, you might have to screw it back on from the wrist base.

There is no rotating the hand. At least it was not supposed to be rotated. But I think the screw or some pin to make the connection stronger for vertical force for holding a weapon is a good idea, thanks.

Im pondering idea if there is a way to turn this into a good thing and make there a working wrist joint instead of fixed. Ideas?

Drill out a small hole in the wrist and in the hand, connect them with a small rod or bit of wire, and viola, you now have a wrist swivel.

Trick is getting the depth and diameters right, probably glueing one side solid, so that you get swivel, but not constant fall-off.

If I had one, I'd take a whack at engineering a printable replacement, but I wouldn't feel comfortable working from just pics and measurements.

Of course the hand isn't designed to rotate. Now your friend comes over... Sees Steelcore holding a epic looking sword, and the first thing he/she does is - try to rotate the fist holding the sword.

Maybe you can try to post a thread about modding the sheared wrist into a functional wrist in the Radicons forum with a header:

"Minor/Scratch : Advice giving Steelcore wrist articulation"

and then post your pics and explain the situation as a starting point.

I hope this would not be against Radicon forum rules, but I bet you would get a lot of top shelf answers in short order.

    destrongerlupus: could work, thanks.

    chuckcjc: good idea, will do.

On a related note, is there a way to loosen his joint which rotates hips up and down during transformation? Its so tight Im not trusting it after this wrist accident.

EASY fix! Just pin and glue the fist where it should go. Just two or three pins for strength since it must fold in for transformation.

Sounds easy, but the plastic isnt very thick on the hand side nor the arm side.

I haven't been following this thread, but to those of you that have, has there been any announcement (or even speculation I guess) that this will be released as a recolour?
