You guys have no idea how close we came to having a four-legged centaurine Soundwave. Do you know how cool that would have been?!!?

The concept for Arcee isn't too diffrent from her final one!

Megatron looks to be more movie inspired from what I can tell from his posture.

Bulkhead, Bumblebee and Soundwave are fucking incredible. I like their designs now, but those are some of the best I've ever seen. Also I like that wide-eyed action-movie star Jack more than the "I swear I'm not emo, I just have bad hair" Jack.

 

Wow Miko changed a lot, and for the better.

I think they should have kept the design on Fowler though.

Starscream has beefed up a bit.

 

My first thoughts on these pictures was that it looked like something from the Lilo & Stitch universe.

Geez, Miko looked bad-ass in the first stages.

Does anyone else think that Megatron's design looked awesome or am I the only one who thinks so?

I like all of those for the most part. Very unique choices. Crab-Wave would've been cool to see (reminiscent of the un-used concept art for RotF Overload/the toy of Rampage).

I would LOVE to see fleshed out versions of that concept art. Megatron looks like he would've been sweet, and Optimus looks...adequately Optimus-like. A beefy Starscream? Cool. Bulkhead's fat stage is  

 

I like Arcee, Bumbles, Optimus, and Starscream. I'm really glad they didn't stick with Miko, Bulkhead and Megatron's original designs. Overall though, I'm quite happy with the final result.

 

That bee design would have been awesome. I mean, at least it's a different look from the movie right?

 

I would like to see that Megatron applied to another character. It's a neat design, just not a neat Megatron design.
Same thing with the Arcee design.
Kind of wish they kept that Bumblebee design. The crests are awesome.
Thank goodness they changed Bulkhead's design. Though it would be funny if he talked like Japanese sumo wrestler.
Kind of neutral on the Fowler design.
Change Jack's hair with that of his earlier design.
Good thing Miko was changed. Looks like she was originally going to be a grumpy goth. I wouldn't have minded the goth part, but I hate grumpy characters.
If I could have changed the past, I would have Optimus's current design be Orion Pax and have that past design be Optimus.
Kind of like the old Raf design but I'm glad they changed him.
Not really digging the Ratchet design.
Soundwave is creepy. He is another design I would like to see on another character.
Starscream shouldn't have stopped working out. He could have looked that awesome!

I do not like that Soundwave. It's too alien. It makes him look more silly then sinister. Glad they didn't go in this direction. Megatron...Eh. Generic metal monster. All the humans save for Miko look a lot better here though, and wow, those proportions are spot on perfect! Real shame they didn't go with that. It gives him a very heroic build, more so then what he has now. And honestly, Bee looks the same to me, just without the shoulderpads and with other small details missing.

 

The only ones I like are Prime, Fowler and Starscream. Jack reminds me of this guy:
