damn, that blows! if that was the case for me, that definitely would deter me from buying off eBay. their automatic inclusion of import tax for their international global shipping option provided to sellers already turns me off those listings.

If i assume at least 24h ago i would use AliE customer service or contact your bank to see if a refund is in the works.

Just to confirm what everyone knows, one day bid is still a good seller! I got 1 of 2 of my items from them! Funny, it took so long to make it here, that I can no longer leave them positive feedback.

I think lots of their parcels go via Shanghai. My last parcel from One day Bid took from mid March to the middle of May. 5 week delay in Shanghai before getting exported to the UK. I bought some KO MPs from them as well at the same time but because they were smaller items took 7 days to get to the UK. Overall good experience buying from them.

I will still continue buying from One Day Bid.

well i just decided to file a claim. i already sent them a msg couple days ago, before they unregistered, regarding the parts and responded with please wait further. this after waiting patiently nearing 2 months for parts to be sent. so at this point with me, whether they respond or not i will get some sort of result. at this point a full refund is a much better prospect then getting replacement parts from a questionable seller that may not come through anyway.

Personally, I'm more partial to parts; gives me a chance to see how it's assembled and articulated, plus I don't have to find something to do with the original piece, but yeah, at that point, refund from PayPal might be as good of an outcome as you can get.

Another successful round of eBay refunds. This time they were refunds from Toyclub89. Toyclub89 attached a bogus tracking number to tie it up so could not cancel the order, expected delivery date is like June 25 however it was very clear they were never going to ship, I just used the return item option in ebay, waited the 5days until being allowed to ask eBay to step in. Once that period passed got them involved with a simple comment, not shipped and seller did not respond. I think this was record timing... 15minutes I had the refunds on all 3 items. I wish everyone else who had issues with them the same luck as I have had

If your other parcel turns out to be a scam. Contact Paypal for your refund. It'll go faster.

What is the next best way to get a refund since PayPal has closed their over-the-phone customer service? File an online claim with PayPal? (I tried calling them earlier and got a message saying their phone service was closed due to Covid-19)

wow, that's great… and very odd at the same time. i tried that with eBay zhhena2085 fiasco everyone else had gone through. eBay insisted i had to wait the entire shipping estimate period before they would step in.

Can you let me know what reason you selected on the ebay return request? Also, did you add any details/comments? Looks like I will need to be requesting a couple refunds. Thanks in advance.

Doesn’t match description or wrong item sent. If they indicated somewhere in the post that it would be shipped in X many days after purchase use that to your advantage and use doesn’t match description and put a comment that item was not actually shipped.

    You welcome

So I’m in the market for a gigapower HQ-02R Chrome grassor... anyone know a reasonably priced one from a good seller? Cheertoys has one... feels risky and the shipping is way to much. Mascot_zone also has one but again kind of looks fishy... anyone dealt with them recently?

Showz every now and then has preorders open for HQ01R, HQ02R and HQ03R. I pre-ordered all 3 there. I think currently he still only has slots for 03R now but I see them open up now and then.
I'm looking for 04R since each seller I bought it from on ebay has let me down (one was a scam, the other refunded me when they realized they were out of stock). I was actually looking at cheertoys; I think they are reliable but just very expensive. I think they use better shipping than other ebay sellers though as the expected delivery date on all his items are usually within a month or two, unlike some sellers who sometimes have expected delivery dates in september...

Sounds like a lucky break! This seems like a solid strategy to consider, but sounds kinda like it hinges entirely on the seller not actually shipping the item, and not actually responding to Ebay. If the item (or whatever they send you) is showing updates, doesn't seem like it'd work. If they jumbled your address, it might not work, or if they accepted your return request and asked you to ship the item back, it also wouldn't likely work. Still, the refund possibility in under 5 days is extremely appealing to consider, especially if you're pretty certain the item isn't in transit at all!

So, after 9 days, my shipment from Baba just did something odd. Usually it's just Tianjin->Beijing->Murica, but this time it's suddenly Tianjin->Beijing->Long dramatic pause->Beijing->ZhengZhou. Might just be random, but it sure seems like a lot of shipments have been popping in and out of ZhengZhou lately. Is this just random, or is ZZ becoming on of the few non-priority shipping hubs out of China right now?

There's a crapton of ridiculously cheap Siege Ratbat/Rumble sets being offered by Chinese eBay sellers right now. Some of them as auctions starting at $0.99. All of these appear to be relatively new sellers with little feedback thus far.

    Looks very fishy.

Kinda makes sense, they're out of stock at many online retailers, and Japanese sellers are marking them up about 5x standard retail. I'm honestly surprised there isn't a longer list of sketchy new sellers offering them.

So I ordered from toyfly2015 almost two weeks ago, and I’ve sent them two messages. The item does not have tracking and they have not responded to either message.

has anyone used them before? How long does it take them to send stuff out?
