I will pick this issue up as well. I love the idea of using characters that may not be as popular or well known and giving them a reboot. Personally I loved the last spotlight on Ramjet. He was always protrayed as a dumb brute on the cartoon but in the spotlight they tried to give him a second level Starscream personality. Of course since he is not as popular as Screamer he bit the bullet quickly.

I always thought that it would have been hard for the Decepticons to rule Cybertron in the G1 cartoons if so many of Megatron's soliders were so inept, stupid or criminals (Decepticon criminals....now there is a brain teaser?!?) but these new takes on obscure characters is refreshing and exciting. I am going to add Classics Ramjet to my collection ASAP!!! 

 

I hope we also see Cerebros, Gasket & Grommet/Cog somewhere in the book!

I don't agree.
I think the Dreamwave Micromaster series got just about everything wrong.
Fortress Maximus looked like he was composed of a bunch of marshmallows stacked on top of each other with a head that was abysmally small for his body.
It was unclear how big he was -he seemed to be the same size as Ultra Magnus.
Not only did he take part in a grossly stupid tactical decision by working with the Decepticons to create the Micromasters, but he also appeared to just desert his post at a time of great need.

That sounds like an intrguing idea, but i get the feeling that it's more likely she'll still be allied to the main Autobot cast, tho' she probably will know something about Jhiaxus and his past experiments. Wasn't that what the synopsis said she'd be all enraged about?

Anyway, i'll probably be getting my copy of this. Even tho' i often think Arcee gets too much attention as the only significant female Tf out there, i still support most of her things as a female fan!

 

Is it just me, or Fortress Maximus' "helmet" looks similar to Leozak's?
