None of the many retailer's orders are added to the total, and we know fairly certainly they combined have at least a couple thousand additional orders, so we're closer than you think.

If this was a year long. we wouldnt see the figure until 2022..... ... but if they hadnt told us and waited until january ... went until march.... people would be willing to spend tax income checks on it..... But then again I think this thing will get backed... if its in the last day and its a thousand short... I think people and businesses will buy extra just to make sure it happens.

What are you looking at? any flagg that isnt broken or missing tons of parts goes for over 1K easily on ebay.

also LMAO @ MP Galvatron. That thing would cost 250$ if not more ............. This whole thing is a crowdfund which means Hasbro didnt want to lose money making 8000 units.... so why would they want to add in a 250+ figure for free and lose money???

I think its more like people trying to set this up to fail no matter what.... . that way if this thing gets backed and doesnt come with some 250$ bonus figure..... they get to troll and annoy people still by saying its a disappointment .

I keep hearing conflicting stories. Do the orders from online retailers count toward the 8,000 or not? Some say it does, and some say it doesn't. Also, why would anyone order it through the online retailers for more money than what it costs through Hasbro Pulse?

They count, and people may order it through them if they are not in North America, or because the retailers give them more time to save to pay for it.

Ordering through Haslabs requires all the money up front if the crowdfund succeeds. Ordering through most of the online retailers only requires a deposit at most, with the rest being required once it actually ships. For many people, getting together $600 in such a relatively short notice given by Haslabs just isn't feasible, but having over a year and a half to save it up, even with the additional markup from the other retailers, can be a lot easier to manage.

    They will count.

Convenience, as most of them are offering deferred payments vs. the all up front payments of HasLab.

All orders through other retailers count towards the total in the end (this has been confirmed by contacting some of those retailers and also just correctly translating the TakaraTomy Mall pre-order page), and there are at least a couple thousand orders confirmed between the various retailers, but they won't actually get added to the Hasbro Pulse tally until near the end.

People might buy from other retailers because, although it costs more, it also gives them substantially more time to pay, as they generally aren't charging the full amount until Unicron ships in January 2021. Plus, there are the retailers taking orders in countries that Hasbro Pulse can't ship to, like EB Games and Zing in Australia, or TakaraTomy Mall in Japan.

the only source hasbropulse is currently tracking is direct orders through hasbro pulse. 3p retailers havent placed their orders yet

yes they count. in my case i had backed through hasbro pulse but had to back out due to a $900 vehicle repair. i placed an order through chosen prime instead because theyre only charging a deposit, honoring their free shipping policy and i can make payments on the preorder whenever i want

Saw a quick link on google, just shows a stock picture of the Flagg, didn't bother investigating it but the point is moot.

Remember everyone, if it doesn't hit 8,000, you'll have to pay about $1,000.00 for the Asia exclusive version.

That is more difficult to say without having the figure in hand. It's probably not going to have an engineering as sofisticated as, say, MP44 but the weight and transformation seem to point toward this figure being more complex, better built and with better materials than the chug titans.

I think the Australians had the best deal.  I read on one of the sites that they are allowed to preorder Unicron, that there will be no mark up on it, so it will cost the $575.   And they get to pay the balance throughout the year until release date.

100% fact .... they will all count....... its just that the online sites havent put their orders into hasbropulse yet so all those orders wont be shown on the hasbropulse counter tally until the last few days.... some online sites arent even putting them in until the last day.

now there is some confusion on Takara Tomy Mall ..... those may or may not count... originally they werent supposed to count but its possible hasbro and Takara changed their minds and made it all count towards the 8000 count.
