Has this happened to anyone? So I am a HUGE G1 fan, but really started collecting after the movie in 07 with the Movie line figures which I loved. During that time I discovered (discovered for me is always late sorry) the beauty of the Alternators and got almost all of them. Expanding out I purchased some of the cybertron and energon lines and certainly picked up most of the Classics line and on to Universe Classics 2.0. I was certainly in no mood nor did I like the animated and have since fallen for the figures hard and have most of that line. Now I discover (albeit late) the THS figures and there is a new 1:32 scale binaltech coming out that may blossom into a line called Alternity...I mean come on!!! Will the MADNESS NEVER END!!! HOLY GOD I CANNOT... TOO MUCH... OVERLOAD OVERLOAD!!!
Hell, there's people like you who collect that stuff AND Animated, as well as other past lines. Count your lucky stars you're not like me- them, like them. I don't have a problem.
Forgot to mention the love of many RID figures. I am fighting...FIGHTING my urge to go after G1 or encore figures..FIGHTING!!!
Heh... good luck stopping yourself from RiD. They're what brought me back to collecting. The Car Brothers and Prime/Magnus rank among my all-time favorite TFs. There will always be something; Animated nearly quashed my desire to collect, then the phenomenal Universe stuff started hitting and I was right back in.
No it doesn't end. I've been looking for an out for a while now but the lines keep getting better. I'm one of the lucky ones. I've been collecting since BW started so most of my figures where bought at retail. It's the G1's that are really hurting me, thank god for encore lol. So no, it doesn't end or at least won't end for another 3 years. (The movies) Thanx Transbot90210
yes....it is overwhelming. Will the madness ever end? Most likely not. Mine started back up with Alternator Bluestreak/Silverstreak after an almost 20 year absence....thanks a lot, Blue.
Yeah and you're only talking TF's. What about all the other awesome lines out there? I just need to win the lottery, not only to afford all the lovely toys but also to be able to afford to store them somewhere.
Tell me about it... First it was Classics then Reissues then Beast Wars then a little Cybertron & Energon then Animated and now back to Classics 2.0...and this whole time trying to squeeze some G1 in there... Better than the well running dry though...

Seriously, can you imagine the frenzy (not character) that will occur with a whole new line of Alternators! But seriously even if not, they will just keep coming... When there isn't anything to buy I hunt around and look for something cool and unfortunately I ALWAYS FIND SOMETHING!!!, That's how I fell into the RID pit after falling in a bunch of other pits. I feel like Mel Gibson's character in Conspiracy theory having to buy every copy of Catcher in the Rye!!!! I'm going to excuse myself and cry for a sec then search ebay...

Piss poor distribution with stores only keeping shelfwarmers out until by some miracle they sell, THEN ordering another case that won't show up for weeks later. Please god no. I was happy when they left, it wasn't the price or the figures themselves, they were just a BITCH to track down. DN
