I'm currently doing a Wii System update. Everything was going well and thought this update was going to be done quickly, but the update just stopped halfway. It hasn't moved from that same spot for 1/2 hour. And it says that I shouldn't turn the power off while updating. What should I do?
Give it time, like, another hour, and if that doesn't work reset it. My first Wii update took almost 2 hours. They make me nervous now. ha
Had the same problem with the first Wii Update, I eventually just shut it down and restarted and it updated fine.
Did a new update just came out in the last couple of days, or is this the one that's been around for awhile, cause that one took me forever. EDIT: Duh, I need to look down the thead list. Move along, nothing to see here.
While we're on the subject, am I the only one that wants to rip their hair out everytime I wanna connect to WiiShop to look at the new games in the VC? I swear the shit times out 9/10 times.
i haven't had one issue yet...after all the updates, 6x VC games, and the channels....it was quick (takes less than 5 minutes) and easy. Maybe cause i'm wired...
Wii Shop and other connection issues can be fixed simply by changing the channel on your wireless router. Change it from the default to 1 or 6. Keep trying different channels until it works.
I need some help here. I have been trying both friday and saturday to do the update. The conenction test works and the update is about to start but it dosent move anything and then error code 32004 comes up saying it was not able to get the update. Then I try again and I can connect to the internet and I try to connect again and the system update showsn but wont start and it goes like this around and around ? I am using a WIFI USB conenction. has worked for me before. I tryed to enter the shop channel but that just said I needed to do the update. Could it be server overload or something else ? I have been thinking about getting a wired connection insteed. any help would be great //Mac
hn, I just got the blue light letting me know there's a new update. Took about 25 seconds to update, and no idea what it did. EDIT aha! it's internet stability and prevents some crashing and freezing. It also helps out with the Nintendo LAN Adapter when connecting to the net
Do you guys have your Wii's on 24 connect? I did once and I was so hot when I got home from work that I turned the 24 connect off from then on.
I leave mine on all the time, I just leave the Wii on standby. Also, I just found out youtube finally works on the wii. saw-eet
