Hi all, In anticipation of receiving Venksta's Goldbug head kit, I started prepping United Bumblebee for the change over. Still going to do some work to the legs yet. I wanted to give this a little more of a G1 feel, but contrast with a slightly different shade of gold with a pearl clear coat. Share your thoughts! - Gregg
It's really hard to find a gold to shines the same way the yellow paint on this figure does. The best I found was a can of Testor's spray paint. Almost the same shade, none of the bronzey-brown color that I seemed to get with other golds in comparison. I just need to spray a shiny overcoat and I'm done.
