Thundercracker turns to Dreadwind "That is what I am trying to find out...." Did Shadow leave? "Starscream, we have found a few different slugs with labels, one being called Project Nexus." Grimlock grumbles as he and Hot Shot helps unload the ship. Rippersnapper shuts up and follows. On Nebulos, the base that the Preds call home begins to shift.
Snarl grumbles softly as he finishes the last of the boxes. "Me snarl look for more rabbit shipments." He then heads of the recreation room/messhall/what they managed to put together. Cosmos stretches and the sloshing is heard. "Oh yeah! I should go there too to put the wine away!" He also heads in that direction. Ironhide folds his hands together. "Tell me Fortress Maximus, have you ever heard of the planet Nebulos?"
"Show me" grinned Starscream. "I believe we can guess what data the project contains." --- Topspin shrugs. "Agreed. Better be careful though. Don't wanna accidentally sell these guns to remnants. Anyway, I'll be back after this meeting." Topspin heads to Ironhide's office. "Sorry I'm late, Cosmos and I had a heavy crate to shift" Topspin says as he enters. Sludge then wandered about, looking for Nightstalker. "Sludge gone mad" said Swoop to Cosmos. --- Hun-Grrr gets back into the bridge and retakes his navigator seat while Blot burps and slumps onto several seats in robot mode and falls asleep. His toxic dribble hung out of his mouth. --- Undertow commed Soundwave. "Sir, we've loaded 72% of our attack force onto the fleet. Shall I meet you on the flagship?" he asked.
"Autobot intelligence has intercepted a few distress being emitted from this organic planet. Most are hurried and/or cut off by explosive and an occasional roar. They sent a mech down to investigate after two of the calls spoke of 'giant metal men-beasts.' The reason it was brought to our attention is said mech has not been heard from since. Command thinks there may be a Decepticon base in need of annihilation there. And potentially a mech in need of rescue." states Ironhide. "I've decided to put you in charge of this mission. It will be good to see if you have what it takes to manage an ego the size of Grimlock's. He's a good mech who's good at fulfilling missions. You just have to get past that ego. I think engaging in some mutual destruction together while he learns to respect your senority and authority will be good for the team. He'll see your strength and leadership and respect that. So I don't think I need to ask this but are you up for this job?" Ironhide looks over at Topspin. "Take a seat mech. We were just discussing Fortress Maximus's mission with the dinobots. I wanted him to also be aware of what your wreckers will be up to..." He gives Fortress Maximus a sidelong look. "Unless you were right there with Grimlock easedropping..." He looks at Topspin again. "Have you finalized your picks of mechs going with you?" Cosmos pats his back. "You'll feel better after some fuel." He then arrives to start putting away all the wine. Snarl is already there rummaging around for rabbit supplies.
"I stand by my previous choices. I've worked with Springer long enough to know I can definitely rely on him, and Cosmos and improved a lot since joining the Wreckers. Besides, if we brought any non-fliers, we'd need a ship, which the cons could pick up early. No doubt we'll be the only people answering the call." Swoop simply sighs.
"And the cat mech?" wonders Ironhide. Cosmos glances over at Snarl as he works. "What'cha looking for Snarl?" "Me Snarl loking for petro rabbit rations. He Swoop found some early. Delicious." answers Snarl. "We actually have that now? Wow. Nice." nods Cosmos in appreciation. "Good find Swoop!"
"I could literally take down an entire base full of Decepticons myself if I had all my equipment... but I guess the Dinobots will do also," Max replies. "When do we leave?"
"As soon as you and they are ready." states Ironhide handing Fort Max a datapad. "This contain the details on the lost mech. Its doubtful he lives, but confirmation always helps."
"He can ride in the Cockpit if he wants to record it from there." Swoop kneed Snarl. "That Dinobot-That was Dinobot secret" Swoop whispered to Snarl.
"Alright then mechs, ya'll are dismissed. Ah got to get this report in before Command has my own head." Ironhide grumbles the last sentence. "But he might know where more is...." whines Snarl. "Well, I don't. I can keep it a secret though, as I don't fancy rabbit myself." assures Cosmos to Swoop. "Tell you what. I'll help you guys search okay?"
"Yes sir!" said Topspin leaving, before activating his comms. "Cosmos, Springer, meet me in meeting room B, pronto." ((@LegoTFGuy )) --- "Me Swoop no know where I Swoop put it" Swoop said, confusingly.
"Ack. So much for that. Good luck you guys!" Cosmos quickly scampers off to meeting Room B. Snarl transforms. "Me Snarl sniff it out!"
Cosmos quickly seat himself. "What's up?" "Me Snarl see this work for dogs. Maybe work for dinobots?" muses Snarl.
Cosmos "sure sure." Cosmos leans back in his chair. "Say what do you think of the new cat mech?" Snarls sniffs about and accidently sniffs in a bunch of dust. "Ahhh Ahhhh AHCHOOO!" The coolers shelves rattle and from atop one the highest shelves a box labeled "petro rabbit. keep out of dino reach" falls to the floor.
"Haven't got round to having a chat" laughed Topspin. "I dunno, I think that it's a cat?" --- "Huh" says Swoop. "Look like me Swoop not only one with Petro Rabbit stash."
"You sure? He seems too intelligent to be just a mechanimal." muses Cosmos. "I say we should test his intelligence in the medbay. Maybe he just can't vocalize like a regular mech. You know? It's not like most of us chose the frames we were first given anyway." ----- "Finders keepers" muses Snarl transforming. He picks up the box.
"Fair enough" said Topspin. "We can see if he responds to questions, ok?" Swoop huffs at the lack of getting any Petro Rabbits. "Me Swoop hungry."
