We know they're coming but once they're done with the Cons will they leave Prime and crew on Earth alone or stay on Earth to help them as permanent members of the cast?

 

No idea. I think they'll still be around from time to time, but likely not regulars.

 

Once they arrive at Earth they pretty much stay a part of the main cast threw the rest of the 1st season (what I'm calling the first season anyways, and that's all the episodes we know about, the 3 that made up the premeir movie and the 26 episodes after that). We also only know of 3 Elite Guard members. There is speculation that Ironhide might be another member, but there's nothing to actually base that off of.

 

As far as I know they will show up for three episodes, from the episode named after them to the one called "Mission Accomplished". They're more than likely to show up on the season finale, "A Bridge too Close".

As far as I know, the permanent cast is just the five main Autobots, the others will show up for odd episodes. Much like how Teen Titans was always the core group of five, with a couple of other heroes making regular appearances but not so frequent that they might be called cast.

For nostalgia's sake, I'd like to see Jazz stay on Earth.

The rest, including Sentinel can bugger back off to Cybertron (unless Optimus tells him that BA is actually Elita-1).

Well Magnus, and Jazz and I assume Sentinel are going to get toys. Hasbro might want them permantly on the show to help said toys sale, specially Magnus who´s gonna be a leader class toy if the rumors are right.

 

I imaigne the elite guard will storm in and try to show prime and co how it should be done, making a mess in the process of course.
I can see them setting up a post on earth to guard the allspark too.

Actually, it's no longer a rumor, and it's actually been confirmed. The only Elite Guard member that hasn't been confirmed to be getting a toy is Sentinel Prime, and he's most likely going to get one anyways, and most likely at the Voyger size class, imo.

Anyway, I can't wait to see the Elite Guards to show up. The flash back by Prime seems to be very tense with him and Sentinal. Sentinal thinks it was Prime who was the responsible for the death of Elita. Also, I like to see how UMagnus views Prime efforts in handling all the issues on Earth.

 

Heh for some reason I'm picturing Sunstreaker and Sideswipe showing up and making a mess of everything. Not only do they have a sibling rivalry, but they're pretty loose cannons for Autobots.

Well, Jazz and Ultra Magnus will be getting toys...
so I think they'll be either recurring or part of the Season 2 cast.
Arcee had a cameo, and theres no toy of her, nor have we seen more clips of her.
