At a toy store, i found a Skyhopper G1 figure in box. I think it was UK. I tried googling the figure, but i can't find where this guy came from. Does anyone know any info on him?

It's part of the micro masters line. what media it may have been in i am unsure. I do know it was never featured in a cartoon in the US. I also donotrecall seeing it in any of the G1 Japanese series. As for the Comics, your guess is as good as mine.

ah thanks for the new info. Always good to learn more about this hobby we all love. I actually like that color scheme better than Skyhopper's.

I really do as well, makes him pop on a shelf. Plus a red Countach with the name Deadwheeler is also a good bonus.
They redid Groundshaker as well into Landshaker, here's a closer look at the pair of them: Brr-icy's Transformers Reviews: Zone Landshaker and Sky Hyper

I love the Zone line, it was the first Japanese line I aimed to complete when I started. Such neat repaints and the new figures are pretty cool too.

I'd love to get into the Japanese lines but i just do not have the budget for it.
