Please excuse me if this was already asked / stated somewhere before (can't imagine it hasnt), but gotta ask this. Why is Sentinel in the trailer yellow and in the movie he has a Red color. I can imagine that after reformatting he just obtains this color because of his new vehicle mode, but we never saw this before. What was the reason to give him a yellow color in the trailer? Or do you think he will be red in the movie already from the beginning?
sentinel prime was in the trailer???!!!! edit: Oh ya, he's in his protoform mode. He hasn't scaned his truck yet, therefore he's in sort of a cybertronian mode.
Isn't he a protoform in the Ship? Remember in TF1 all Autobots were grey/silver but after scanning vehicles they changed colour based on their vehicle colour.
I remember reading an older post and someone suggested that he was yellow in the trailer to make people speculate who he was, if he was red in the trailer, everyone would have assumed he was the firetruck that was already rumoured to be Sentinel due to that security guard video
optimus didnt though in 1st film? he looked like ironhide, jazz etc. he had the protoform look to. some of the bots on the ark also didnt really look like protoforms.
Maybe he will start of the movie with a cybertronian ship alt mode? Probably not though, I'm pretty sure he's in his protoform in the trailer. I also wonder where he'll acquire the fire truck mode as well. I hope he crashes on Earth like the others in the first film and there's some fat kid filming it all. "This is easily a million times cooler than Armageddon..."
But wasn't he red in the Foundation comics, which take place on Cybertron? if he was, it wouldn't make sense if he changed his colour on the ship, then changed back to red when on Earth
Protoform=no vehicle mode except entry mode (bee, jazz, etc) Cybertronian mode=decorated/cybertronian vehicle (sentinal) Earth mode=decorated/Earth vehicle (all bots on Earth) That should help.
