i think a spotlight about wheelie on a battle ravaged world being one of the only survivors would be awesome......... is wheelie really that bad if you dont have to hear his voice? (ala comic book)
I love* how people are FREAKING OUT over the very idea of Wheelie possibly getting his own one-shot comic entirely because of their memory of the G1 cartoon, which, as we have seen by Furman's other work, does not really apply to IDW's G1 universe anyway, given how different some character personalities are, and Wheelie's own first appearance in this universe didn't have him rhyming. *this is a lie.
I think its wheelie. Why? Because I think a certain person let the cat out of the bag to me in private when I entered into the IDW Cover Artist contest. I had mentioned I would love to draw wheelie, and the reply was "he" had already passed on that suggestion as one of the characters for the cover design contest, but that character had already been discussed and reserved for a future project. So to me this is 3 month old news. no purpose guessing - a certain someone already hinted at it, but I am not naming names or reposting a private email with out his permission.
Heh. What if Furman treats him like crud? A Waspinator or Kenny like character? It'd be hilarious if that was the finished art. Kinda a post-modern way of saying Wheelie isn't even worth an artist's time.
Wheelie FTW! I hope they give him his necklace of sharkticon teeth and a lightsaber. Only the fierce shall live!
Shiv would be cool, but it looks like they gave him....a backpack? Survivalist is one thing, but its a narrow line from crazy hobo. Its only a grocery cart away, which I guess makes the backpack a better choice. They should also explain why a survivalist is bright traffic-cone orange.
