that's definitely opinion, a lot of us like the minibots in legends class, the oversized ones hang in the background of my display with the legends up front, don't really like my minibots being deluxe+

on topic, huffer looks awesome, seaspray, not so much

 

Yeah it's odd, especially with iGear themselves preparing their own 'PP' line (including G1 deluxe Bumblebee and Cliffjumper). Maybe they're planning more detailed PP deluxe versions of the other minibots as well as these little guys?

I think legends in general (not these, funnily enough) look and feel more like 'toys' because of the lack of detail/articulation etc and therefore don't quite belong in a nice looking collection. Scout class is a better alternative, being large enough to make decent figures but still scaling well as minibots next to most of the deluxe line. Personally I prefer deluxe minibots because they also go with MP/Alt bots, but I know that's not a popular stance.

I guess legends are fine if you prefer playing with small things  

 

I would have prefered scout size but, beggars can't be picky!! When is the last time we had a Huffer that looked like Huffer??

 

Still hate how Seaspray's head is so sunken in, and the shape of his body. wide lower body, then super slim between what passes as this thing's shoulders. It looks terrible.

 

Huffer looks better and better. Was always one of my favorites from G1 (still remember breaking my buddy's brothers Huffer as a kid). As far as them being small, I like my beer cold, my women skinny, and my minibots mini. Fits in great with the other Legends minibots outside of the fact that these look to actually have decent articulation.

 

Agreed - they were Minibots in the G1 line, and that's good enough for me.

Plus, the price can't be beat!

 

They look great so far. Very happy with these.

I'm a nostalgian so I love that these are mini-bots like their G1 inspirations. I was never crazy about the up-sized versions of mini-bots in CHUG.

 

Yes size is all opinions. I know fans that collect only Legends and swear by them. There are others that marry Legends and the rest of the line together. Then there are those like me, the main line size ends at Scout.

I agree minibots are mini but Scouts are mini. I am not hating on the actually figures, these things are gorgous. I am just hating on the size they chose because at Scout they would have been mine. at this Lengends scale; I can't bring myself to buy them because they are outside of my collecting range.

Not sure why everyone's worried about paint apps - iGear specifically states that they're unpainted on Facebook...

I think both of them look completely awesome as-is, and they're probably gonna become must-buys the instant that a "final" pic comes online. I'm also really happy about the size, Seaspray just didn't work for me as a Voyager, even before I saw the actual figure.

if I get that huffer, he's gonna be posed with my g1 legends. Speaking of which, I need to finish my g1 style legends collection think I'm missing a couple

to bad huffer will put them all to shame by actually having articulation, hope they start doing other legends than minibots, I'd love a ton of s3 legends, the legends rodimus (deluxe as well) we got is crap.

edit: just saw these are 15 shipped. Might be too hard to pass up on that for huffer.
