I know it's a more affordable way to get these but I really wish everyone would collectively say f*ck you to these KO's. It would absolutely suck if these somehow negatively impacted the MP line from Takara. They are finally giving us what we've been asking for and now there are d-bags out there ripping them off. I want Takara to continue as long as is possible with this MP line.

    F%ck these KO a-holes.

    Exactly.

Except when they're original concepts. Then I usually accept them.

If the official ones were a little lower priced, then there wouldn't be a market for these and they wouldn't exist...

but then you have the case of Lambor. for all i've seen, the official release is crap! the KO not so much and so I actually bought it, because i sure wasn't willing to spend the big bucks on a flawed original.

GODDAMMIT! I have an official MP 17 Prowl, so I was waiting for this KO MP 18 so I didn't have to pay full price for a minor retool/repaint. I broke down 2 days ago and ordered an official MP 18. I thought maybe Takara was finally cracking down on the KO MP figures and MP 18 KO might not happen. I made this KO happen by caving in. Oh well, I will just keep it official from now on and save myself the stress of waiting and wondering if it will be KO'ed.

I suppose pressure from the KO producers might be helpful if Takara was genuinely ripping us off with the price points but I would need to see solid evidence to accept that claim. And, it still doesn't justify it.

They are after all the ones who put in all the work with designing and engineering the figure so $60-70 is not exactly ripping us. It seems fair to me as I am willing to pay it. Also, if you bought one of these in Japan it would be equal to $40. A lot of our cost is due to importation.

I can get down with 3p figures, but to outright rip the mold and even packaging off is very unscrupulous.

Some people are not buying the real figures because they know there will be an inevitable KO. That is not good.

Knock offs like this have been around forever. There really isn't anything to worry about cause the MP line will be killed by Takara's own bungles long before any knock-off (er) can. See Binaltech for further proof of that.

Trust me. KO's are not harming TT/Hasbro in the least.

If they're original concepts or based of characters, they're not KO. A KO is something that copied almost exactly, a product that is/was already released.

Seems Takara people don't give a _______ on ko's. In their priority markets (especially the japanese) the mp cars are actually sold out so they only accomplished their bussiness. If ko's could struggle their priority markets they surely would put a lawsuit against them.

Looks like the $40 ones are all gone and now it's just questionable $70 ones that don't say they are a ko.

If that is the case then it's good news.
