Looney tunes returns to cartoon network in an all day marathon new years!

This is the first time in years these classics have aired on cartoon network.

Wow. Cartoon Network airing classic cartoons for the first time in nearly five years? This sounds too good to be true.

But is it the original or the crappy edited to be PC version where they take out all the funny. Is Speedy still banned because he's considered too racial?

Did CN do that to Tom & Jerry as well?
I remember for years that certain cartoons had a black housekeeper who had a certain "ethnic" voice.
but in recent years, she sounds different, edited.

what good is history if we edit it?

so much for the good Looney Tunes during the WWII era.
    But New Year's Bugs=WINNNNNN!

What the hell has the world come to when they have to test the waters to determine if kids like Looney Tunes? That's just sick.

Anyhow, I'm relieved that Cartoon Network has finally decided to pony up the cash to pay for Looney Tunes again. I know the reason we haven't had them on TV for five years is because Time Warner jacked up the price on the Looney Tunes package, but I still miss em.

Anyhow, the popularity of the old Tom & Jerry reruns lead to the new Tom & Jerry Tales cartoon, so if these Looney Tunes reruns do well we might get a new series all the recent Duck Dodgers cartoon, which was one of the funniest shows Paul Dini ever wrote.
