Day2.no more olny at (toy r us) figs >: )
Day3.melt any unneeded bumblebees in to (hasbro MP figs)
Day4.TRANSFORMING KREO 2 FOOT TALL FORTRESS MAXIMUS !!!
Day5.cityformers with some wanted leader class
Day6.realease all unrealese TF
Day7.realease DOTM dlx&HA dino/mirage on 12/22/2012 (trollface) >: )

 

Not gonna lie here. I'd probably do whatever I could to troll the fuck outa the fandom, especially given that I'll be absolved of any & all responsibility once my fictional week in power has finished.

 

Yeah... good luck getting any of that done in a week...

Not to mention that Hasbro actually has surprisingly little power to get a number of those things done...

 

I would embezzle millions out of it

 

1. Hasbro can't force retailers to buy product that they don't want.
2. No more toys r us exclusives? Okay then, those toys won't be made at all then, since TRU is usually the only ones that want those toys.
3. What?
4. Congratulations, you just created the ultimate shelfwarmer, a 500+ dollar building block toy.
5. Designing and producing those in just a week should have interesting results.
6. Again, can't force retailers to buy toys they don't want.
7. Same thing as above, only even more unlikely as if retailers don't want movie toys now, they certainly won't want them 10 months from now.

 

And in a weeks time Hasbro's loses billions and it's stock tanks.

 

Actually communicate with the fandom to see what they want. Then, I'd have the fandom help me overthrow Hasbro and get them to aid whoever designs the toys.

 

people sometimes forget that Hasbro makes more than just Transformers.

However, if more people realized this, we'd have less interesting & hilarious qq threads, so I'm kinda on the fence here haha.

 

spend all 7 days making a 3 story prime (like the giant gundam) that lights up and says, "one shall stand, one shall fall," in hopes to get the kids to scream with excitement and joy. hopefully it'll lead to more sales.

 

Keep all the toys for myself

 

Day 1.) Iron out licensing issues with Ferrari to use the Ferrari Italia as Mirage. If it falls through, I tell the designers to use a similar car mode, with the same robot.

Day 2.) Get in talks with Takara about how we are going to release MP 10 in America.

Day 3.) Discuss the overabundance of Bumblebee in the lines with retailers and come to a conclusion.

Day 4.) Try to iron out a way to release the FE toys in America. Simple repaints would be the best, and release them as "Premium" toys. I'd make sure it doesn't fall through and piss off the fans again.

Day 5.) Discuss the future of the Kre-O brand. (Possibly make ponies and GI Joe sets?)

Day 6.) Discuss with Takara the possibility of a release of the Arms Micron toys in America as blindbagged toys. Blindbags are all the rage now.

Day 7.) Pitch my idea for the all-combiner line I've had for a while, and leave it to the designers and who takes over after me.

 

If I ran Hasbro for a week? I'd say "let's start listening to fans. Whether they're kids or collectors, we need to start listening to them. See what they want us to put out, & see what they don't want.".

 

They're... kinda doing that now. And have been for years. Alternators, Masterpiece, Classics, Universe 2.0, Generations, anyone?

"Listen to" doesn't necessarily mean "follow them at their every beck and call".

Because that would be just plain suicide.

 

It's mostly Takara listening...if Hasbro listened better, there'd be less Bumblebees, better paint apps, & Masterpiece figures wouldn't take so excruciatingly long to get over here.

 

I would make tough, business-minded decisions and bathe in the tears of the fanboys.

3rd day: play famville whole day.

4th day: tomorows my last day, think ill call in sick today.

5th day: steal hasbro stationery. Comes back later at night to TP the driveway lawn. Poop at mr potato heads feet.

4) Continue to use my millions to further complete my collection down the road
5) Steal a FOC Bruticus in its' original color scheme
6) Send Takara Tomy's department to Hasbro America
