I still do not have electricity as of this morning. I'm posting this from work. The street behind me does, the apartments down the street from me do, the houses around the corner do, but my entire street remains dark.
sorry to hear that, at least you have others having to bear shit you, I used to experience that my parents' house is the only house that didn't have electricity while the other row had..
e-On handles Louisville, not Duke. They told us it would be back by Saturday morning. I just want to be able to wash laundry at the house, that's all I ask.
That's too bad, but it could always be worse. We were lucky enough to get power back Monday morning. We were also lucky the large Sugar Maple tree in front of our house didn't come down, though another one of our SM tree's went down. Though it was only 17 years old, and fell away from the house (it did hit an old Lilac bush, but that thing was dyeing anyways). About half of a large tree in the yard across from us came down and almost hit their neighbor's house, though it did flatten their boat. It also took the top off of one of the poles, bringing down the transformer with it. All in all not too bad of damage for the strongest winds we've gotten threw here in quite some time.
