Perhaps, to make this thread more effective, you could edit the first part of your post so it doesn't end up totally undercutting the second part? Or just, y'know, join another one of the several "I HATE NEGATIVITY!" threads already in progress.

 

You troll as much as anyone else. A negative opinion is NOT flaming. Its simply stating that they don't like something. I say you need to calm down and accept other people's negative opinions, even if you don't like it.

It's getting on my nerves too. But there's honestly nothing that can be done since opinions can be critsised by words, but not changed.

I don't mean to nag or anything, but usually it's threads like these, requesting that people calm down and what not, that burst into flame wars. I've seen it happen dozens of times. 

 

Yes but before the movie the boards was a calm place and if you go into the other threads there is alot of arguments

I agree that the moderators are really dropping the ball. I started a poll about hating the film and had in there as an option Hating the haters as a way of saying you like the film but they closed it...

And every other thread on here is just MBay sucks and you are stupid and this and that, these inflammatory threads should be closed and rules reiterated.

 

Sorry but someone said in another thread Michael Bay gave us everything we wanted in TF2 and people still have a problem with that? Thing is the first movie was more about the Autobots and people said More decepticons! and he gave us that but we still complain?

 

I agree. Since I signed up in April this place has become a "war zone" so to speak. If you are truly a Transformers fan, you would appreciate what Michael Bay has done for the franchise and quit with all the negativity and bitching that is taking place. This is NOT G1, Armada, Energon, Beast Wars, Animated, etc. It's the live action movieverse. Get over it! They took source material and ran with it. It does NOT matter if the way the movie Transformers are not depicted as they were in whatever universe they came from. If they did that they would just be copying something that was already done and it would not be original and someone would probably get sued for copying someone else's shit.


Whoo..... Sorry. Had to get that out there. When I saw ROTF I thought it was a great movie and people who are true fans should think the same..... IMO

Sadly this is true... I find the "Die Hard" fans to be TOO critical of the movieverse

 

I have never ever seen this complaint since the movie opened.

And you know, I have seen people on boards, grown men, threatening critics because they don't like ROTF.
