I just started getting into the JoyToy Source stuff. It's amazing. It's 1:27 scale, so pretty close to the old MASK line. Great paint and quality from what I've seen so far, and not that expensive if you buy from Taobao or the like. You can get a 3 pack of the soldiers shipped in a plastic container with harnesses like the ship from Aliens for about 25 bucks or so. The mechs and some of the later pilots take a lot of design cues from the Titanfall series.

Love the series so far. Have an order of them coming in next week actually.

 

So the scale of figures & vehicles is smaller than 80s/modern 25th/50th ARAH GI Joe?

 

Yes, that's correct. They're better articulated than those figures, but closer to 3" tall. It's probably hard to tell from those pictures, but all those pilots also feature removable body armor and helmets with unique head sculpts under each. You can also buy what are essentially "blanks" from overseas if you'd like to paint them up yourself.

But yes, much shorter than modern 4" Joes or even the classic ones.

Just received my KO Diaclone DA01 set. So far I love it.

 

So the main mech set - how does one increase the chances of getting the bonus suit ?

 

If this is the set you're referring to I ordered this from Ebay seller zpdlna802 and it arrived with the bonus suit as shown. I'm a happy camper.

Well...those exo-suits that were sold with the MFT Sixshot, Shockwave, and Springer have broken my spirit, as I bought 5 different KO exo-suits at Show-Z this morning.

A COMIC BOOK SERIES !? I'M COMMITTED!

Having a complimentary line of mecha product will be nice as well but the comic is a must have. Will the comic be based upon the official Diaclone product or based upon the compatible designs made by Legendary Studio and Mech Soul ?

We definitely need more information as I have a LOT of questions running through my mind.
