One of my last remaining commissions, Classics Gears 2.0. The client wanted a "Alt" sized Gears but with a Classics feel. He recommended Crossovers Wolverine and he was dead on. Gundam manipulators with ball joints at the wrists, and a ball jointed head as well. The head is modified Energon Landquake. I really didn't know which way to go with Gears weaponry..I know about his infra-red sensors, but nothing struck me. Anywhooo..here is is, Mr. Stick-in-the-mud, Gears.
Overall, this is another nice piece from you! I really like the robot mode a lot! I think it suits Gears really well, and he is instantly recongnizeable as "GEARS". Many bashes fall short of that major portion of a project. I have to say that I would prefer a solid blue instead of the washed blues used. Also, the bright yellow windshield (while it works on the color scheme of things) looks a bit too odd to me. The custom labels are great and you did a very nice job with those (of course!). The head is genius, and I love all that you've done with it. Great work man, and keep it up!
I must agreed with SQ7 here, that washed out blue gives it an unfinished/W.i.p (IMO) Other then that I cannot fault anything else here. E, you have a really good knack for making me like molds, I have previously not even looked at twice. Nicely done my friend.
Looks like he has that Autobot growth hormone. Thanks, bot meister! When i fiished painting the foundation blue, I thought it looked too "clean" In retrospect, I think it may have looked a lil better clean after the decals are applied, but I do like the overall color. Thanks senseis for the honest feedback. Thanks giys. T.K. the head is from an Energon Landime/Landquake with a bit of modding. It looks a lot different without that visor, huh? Yes...yes he did.
he is awesome. I agree with the few mentioning the yellow windows and washed blues. Most Classics figs are clean, and I think that's why it jumps out so much.

I would say Voyager, bro. He's about the same height as TFTM Rachet. Thanks! I spent some time trying to scult a head, but when I found this one I thought it was a much better fit.
